For those of you who enjoy turn based strategy, Fantasy Wars will be on shelves Wednesday. I was very impressed by the demo and I'm hoping the game does well. If you enjoy the demo, please support the game. The closest thing I can compare the game to is a modern day Fantasy General with a look similar to Warcraft.

My friend already purchased and downloaded the game over a week ago, and he informed me that the AI does a very good job as the game scales into the more complex maps.

I know most people are hyped over games like Call of Duty 4 and Mass Effect, but those titles are already definite blockbusters. Games like The Witcher and Fantasy Wars are the one's that really need to be purchased early in their release cycle to promote further development of their ever decreasing niche.

I really enjoyed the demo myself.  Then again I am a sucker for turnbased strategy games.  As long as I have the fundage, they will get my money smile

Excellent, I was looking for a new turn based fantasy wargame to load on my laptop.

What's cool about these games is that I can load them on my tablet PC and use my tablet pen to control the game.

Seems like next Wednesday? (14th) Sounds fun, I'll try the demo and hopefully put it on my To Buy for next week. I have a serious logjam of PC and PSP stuff on my lists next couple of weeks.  nod

Heck, man, this is more interesting to me than any of the remaining "big title" games this year. I love me some solid turn-based gaming. Will have to check out the demo, even if I can't really budget in purchasing anything for a while!
