I think double xp weekend this weekend will be that end of the constant playing of this game.  Time to find something else...though I'm not sure what that will be.

In retrospect I wish I hadn't gotten the map pack as the new maps NEVER appear in the rotation...

Agreed. I'm running out of steam for this game quickly. The new chassis's are cool for the characters, but the programming in this game is abhorrent.

They'll stick one of the new map packs in and if there are folks who don't have the map pack, they just get dropped. Then during the game, people constantly join/drop instantly if they don't have the map pack. What kind of idiot programmer doesn't understand a Y/N flag? It's pretty sad. This game has a lot of good things going for it, but the lack of host migration and the idiotic programming is slowly killing off my interest.

This one is going to be traded in after double EXP weekend. I'm hoping to stretch a few more achievements out of the game, but my desire to play is dwindling quickly.

I bought the map pack and have probably played the new maps 3 or 4 times since Tuesday. What a waste of points that was. Either the fanbase isn't purchasing the map pack, or the programming behind it sucks. It's a toss up.

A few issues have really brought this game down from a very solid performer to very little.

This game locks up your system ridiculously often. I can't remember the last game that locked up my xbox. This does it on a nightly basis. Lettuce locked up at least twice tonight.
There is no host migration. This is a real pain in the ass. If the host is getting his ass kicked, they normally leave. If the hosts connection sucks, you have to stick it out, or leave.
Lag. Lag. Lag. Either the little icon that pops up indicating you have a horrible host is set pretty high, or the game is bogging down my xbox... but some matches I feel like I'm watching in 5 FPS. Melee doesn't work well in a game where the guy is taking six foot steps.

Sadly, I've got it set to trade in on Aug 6th. Overall this game impressed me (at least from my original expectations), but there are some serious issues that are a true buzzkill.

The new maps came up a few times last night. They're pretty good imo.

I'm planning on playing a ton this weekend.

Next week will probably be SP especially if NonnaSLOB trades it in. (See what I did there? I made fun of you by changing your name to something unflattering!)

They're fine.  Nothing particularly awesome that I've seen.

As for Double XP weekend: So far it has been totally awesome.  My old Gears of War buddy joined Nonnahob and I tonight and for the most part we rolled through just about everyone though there were a few matches we lost. 

Was really great fun.  The MP in this game is SO MUCH FUN, I wish more GTers were still into it.  It's goofy, but well executed robot killer death joy.  And it's very easy not to take it too seriously (unless you're Nonnahob).

I leveled up the Leader 6 levels tonight which is great progress as it's a class I've struggled with.  Had pretty good success with it this evening. 

DISRUPTION is just a great ability.  Turning whirlwind spammers into tanks and then smashing them to bits is pure joy

jammer and ammo matrix are awesome, and the scientist has the most game-changing killstreaks with health matrix, overshields and the BFG.

32k pts and I'm done with soldier.  It has grown on me a bit, but only because I've been equipping the emp shotty as my primary. 

Have killed myself at least 3x more than I've killed with the omega missile.

And how come no one told me ammo matrix let's you fire without reloading?  Ughh.  That's heyooge!

I just discovered the Magma Frag Launcher. OMG.    I went like 67-5 in the first 4 matches I played with it.

Finally finished at 1:15 AM this morning. I was determined to prime before the double exp weekend ended. I never would have been able to had I not done conquest. Whew.

Call me an uber nerd, but I was smiling ear to ear at the beginning of the Autobot campaign when Optimus came on screen.

So awesome.

This game, despite all of its issues, gets a solid A for me. If it weren't for ME2, it'd easly be my GOTY.  The MP is fabulous fun and the SP is just close enough to the cartoon of my youth, that I'm having a total ball with it.

I also locked in the 26.50 of amazon.  Goodbye Transformers: War for Cybertron. You were far better than the masses realize.

No Transformers Dark of the Moon topic to complain in about all of it's horrifically short single player/ridiculously lobotomized multiplayer, but playing THAT game got me to purchase War for Cybertron again.
Having a blast with all the new maps and characters and no lock-up's so far so good.
