the no MP means there's no need for me to worry about missing out on any MP fun, which makes it easier to put this on my wait list since there are other too many other juggernauts coming out in the next 4 weeks.

Can't wait till the 27th!
It's on Gamersgate for $17.95 now, too. I would have gone with the Steam sale, but my Steam install is on a drive that's a bit of a pain to take with me on the road and I want to be able to put Torchlight on my laptop's C: drive (not enough space there to hold my other Steam games). |

The MMO won't be free, not sure where that information comes from.
There's an interview at Shacknews where they say the MMO will be free. So one of the things we were hoping to do is, after this game ships, we're going to start working on an MMO. And we're looking to target that for about two years after this game. It'll be set in the same universe, same kind of playstyle, action-RPG-MMO. But instead of mostly instance, we're doing a lot more shared, big-world MMO. A lot of cool stuff. And that'll be free-to-play, free to download, item sales-based. |

I probably would to, but as long as you can budget a certain amount every month that doesn't exceed the sub cost of a sub then its no big deal. The downside I found while playing RoM is that it makes taking a break from the game much easier to justify. Then I inevitably don't feel like coming back. I think they are smart about how to stay alive with Diablo III's release. Launch a single player game with a focus on mod tools, then an MMOG. Neither are direct competition. They both kind of side step a direct competition with D3. Very smart! |

Taylor someone or other was streaming this friday night. Was a real bitch to get in, but eventually I got in and watched(well I was grinding in aion, but still) for like 2 hours. Damn this game looks great. If it wasn't coming out with borderlands I'd probably get it. I enjoyed mythos a lot.
The music though, omg so amazing. whoever composed it is great.
