The other thread got disorganized looking really fast, so I'll add my thoughts to this more orderly thread. via an orderly list.
1) the new Xbox, and it's backward compatibility with the old or lack thereof.
2) the PS3, and the next nintendo home console offering,
3) the PSP and the Nintendo DS
4) Games under the following headings: a) PC RPGs b) Dungoeons and Dragons franchise gamess c) Final Fantasy franchise gamess d) Dragon Quest/ Dragon Warrior franchise games e) Marvel Comics based games f) Lord of the Rings based games f) Games with characters with swords, the more swords the better.
5) PC Component news (ie Motherboard form factors, Video, Audio, Optical media, Non optical media)
Thanks! Keep this list all year round and I'll be one happy wind... er guy.

I know I "focused" on Battlefield 2 in the other thread...
However, if there is anything on City of Villians, that would be cool too.
Thanks.

Personally, I'm sure that any of the big announcements (Xbox 2, PS3, etc) will be covered in excruciating detail at other sites.
I'd rather see CG focus on titles of interest not likely to see a high level of coverage elsewhere.

Erm, everything. I'd like you guys to do a booth-by-booth of Kentia Hall. they've got some AWESOME gems in there. Take a good 3-4 picks of every booth in there, and blurb on what they've got. It'd be funny to see something you hit this year grow REALLY big.. just think of how Immersion (force feedback) was probably sitting in one of those booths back when Nintendo had all of south hall with their N64.

Booth Babes And Kentia Hall. For the first time in years, there's nothing I'm really stoked about, so just have a great time, drink to excess, and take lots of pictures. Weeeelll, maybe you could get some more info on the Xbox 2....

Quickie Kentia Hall reference - when I went a few years ago, I talked to this one German developer whose company was producing a pirate game. Everything looked like it was slapped together, especially because I'd just come from interviewing Bethesda about Pirates of the Carribbean. Say what you will about the released game, the graphics were gorgeous. I felt so bad for this woman all I could do was nod and wish her good luck on selling the game to a distributor. Then I ran and hid.

Let me be more specific:
questions for all mmorpgs
will there be an open beta (always ask this - please) will the title be released before the end of 2006 what experience does the dev team have with mmorpgs system requirements how can the title be balanced for both casual and hardcore players is the best loot crafted or dropped what measures have been taken to reduce lag

PS3 PSP Xbox 360 Nintendo Revolution
Skip the FPS games Skip MMORPGs
I say this because those two genres are pretty much static nowadays. Furthermore, every major gaming site will be all over those, it would be better to have deep coverage on less popular genres (RTS, turn based strategy, adventure, RPGs) Oh, skip expansion pack stuff as well, we know what to expect from those anyway.
In general, I would like heads-up on longer-term projects rather than stuff due to be released in the summer.

PLEASE look for anything concerning a title called Tenchi No Man for the PSP. It looks like a really great looking RPG but isn't officially scheduled for an U.S. release. You never know - it might be shown at E3

Now that SOE has announced their new position on buying+selling accounts, I think every mmorpg developer should be ask whether they plan to do the same thing.

To me, this is a huge issue, and every dev should be ask to point blank whether they plan to ignore, crack down, or profit from selling accounts and or items.
