well, we're just over a couple of weeks away from TGS 2013, and info is starting to show up.  Square Enix has announce their line-up for the show:

Quote
    Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster K
    Kindgom Hearts x [chi]
    Bravely Default: For The Sequel
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
    Dragon Quest X
    Dragon Quest Monster Parade
    Drakengard 3
    Call of Duty: Ghosts
    Thief
    Wolfenstein: The New Order
    Diablo III (Ps3)

sadly, a couple of big names are missing.  perhaps we'll have some surprises (like them being able to connect to FF14 to show it off icon_twisted)

not sure why CoD: Ghosts is on there though.....

Wolfenstein is listed as a partner game, perhaps they meant to move the others down there too.

Deep Down is supposed to be playable.  Will be good to finally get a real look at what that is.

As much as I am a PS4 fanboy, really interested to what games and features MS will be funding to try and get a foot into the Japanese market. And both companies might be opening up the wallet the first few years, and nothing like a good RPG in the first few years to get a console off to a good start.

There's all these rumors of a Sony first party JRPG meant to compete with Final Fantasy (especially after all deals with Square seems to have fallen through). Hopefully they show it at TGS. At first though that seems silly, but considering the junk Square has been putting out, this might be doable. Assuming the rumor is real, of course, and rumors for this launch season have been all over the place.

And of course, The Last Guardian. If it exists, it will be shown now. Otherwise, it's best to consider it canceled.

I played Wolfenstein at PAX. It had serious problems of not knowing what kind of game it was. The health system was something you'd see in slower paced, methodical, or cover based shooters, but the enemies, encounters, damage, and weapons were all paced towards a quake/classic Wolfenstein shooters. Not sure when it's coming out, but they have a lot of gameplay changes and tuning ahead of them.
