Crap, I hope Call of Duty isn't a Christmas title - the latest batch of impressions have made it sound like it was already more or less finished.

This whole launch title thing fiasco sucks - here we are almost a month out and most of the titles are still cutting it close enough to the wire that no one's really sure what we can pick up on day one or not.

If this list is true, then I guess I'll have to go change my preordered games for the 2nd time this month...

Wow, two of the three games I was considering look to be delayed.  I am now more than ever considering skipping launch day and picking this up next year.  Truth be told the ONLY game that I absolutely must play no matter the cost is Gears of War.  That one is the system seller for me.  Much like ResEvil 4 was for the Cube for me.  I will have this system for that game.  Unless, ofcourse, it is coming out on pc then I may skip the system altogether for awhile and just build me a new rig.

But I must say, if this list is accurate, that I am disappointed and surprised.  I don't see in that list the game that puts the 360 on the map like Halo did for the first.  At least for moi anyway.

Hey dimmona, why COD2 on 360? The PC version looks great at high res, plays better (of course!!) and multi should probably be more fun too-thats the kind of game I know I want on PC personally.

Looks the same, plays great even without mouse/keyboard, and I suspect it'll do as well on the 360 as the PC.  Trust me, I've played both.

So Full Auto isn't a launch title now?  If Oblivion gets delayed past Christmas I'm almost certain to cancel my preorder unless Perfect Dark Zero turns out to be not only amazing but at least 20 hours long.

Listen I absolutely respect your opinions about games, and I believe everything you are saying, but nothing, no matter how good, will ever convince me that a controller plays FPSs as well as a mouse keyboard-so everythign else being equal (or even a tad better on 360), I will still get the PC version for the control

Well... I'm a pretty big fan of COD and UO, so to be honest I planned on picking up both at some point :-)

One of the biggest parts of the original games was the sounds/music, and since my Xbox currently has the nice home theater setup along with it I'd really like to hear what it sounds like.

Too Human is most definitely not a launch title. Its still a ways off I believe.

Right now, I have only Oblivion pre-ordered, and I think I may leave it that way for a while.  Other games of interest:  Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, and I'll be checking out that Condemned site soon.  If Oblivion will be out fairly soon after launch, I really want to play that first.. if so,  I'll have to busy myself with demos, I guess.  :?

Tried to look around some, Calvin, but at this point your guess is as good as mine, I'm 'fraid.

That said, I'm not sure exactly where I read this (might've even been here), but the latest rumor was that Microsoft was going to announce the launch titles the first week of November. One thing's for sure, though... There's only about a month and then some left until launch date, so time is running a bit low here.
