What is the worst game you played this year? Not the most disappointing IE: DOOM3 but the WORST GAME?
It can be console or PC
For me it was Driver 3
I REALLY liked it intially, but the bugs made this game WHOLLY unacceptable the movement, while I got used to it, was just STUPID.

Either Bloodrayne 2 or Fallout: BoS. Crap, crap, and more crap.
BTW, didn't we already do a thread on this?

Maybe not the worst, but the first one to spring to mind was Wings of War. Even for $15 the week it was released, it was terrible.

I've lost count of the games that have made me cry in pain this year.

It's a tie between Halo 2 and Doom 3. Of course if you're counting demos then I'm sure I can add a few more.

Since this is the console forum, I will not comment on PC titles. Worst would be a tie between Vietcong and Driver 3. Since you don't want most disappointing I will not mention H2.

Oh yeah, this is Console Gaming, my bad.
I'd say... Second Sight, then.

Whether this is the console forum or not, HankRaptor said Console or PC so it can be either.

Half Life. I played it for the first time, after hearing countless rave reviews, and I absolutely hated it. It started out ok, but it just dragged on, and on, and on. It just wasn't fun, after awhile. I didn't like the enemies, I didn't like the levels, and I didn't like the plot. I trudged on, though, determined to be able to say I'd beaten it. I know for most people this was a great game, but for me, I was happy to finally turn my back on it. The original Unreal came pretty close to matching this, but it didn't last as long since I quit in the middle of it, so it only gets second place. And no, these gripes aren't due to a hatred of scifi games...I played System Shock 2 for the first time this year also, and I liked it just fine. And yes, I know I'm years behind. And with my starting to work on Baldur's Gate 2 for the third time, my backlog's only going to get worse before it gets better.

GTA:SA or MVP Baseball
EDIT: I almost forgot: EA's NCAA Football IS the worst game I played all year. Those other 2 are just pretty bad.

Worst? Probably the same as the most disappointing for me: Mortal Kombat:Deception.
I was greatly disappointed by Halo 2, Doom3, GTA:SA, and a host of other big names - but at least those games on their own still played fairly decently. MK:Deception was just ass.

Hmmm...should take a look at the bad games I've had to review:
Robotech: Invasion (Xbox) Power Rangers: Dino Thunder (PS2) King of Fighers: Maximum Impact (PS2) -- not terrible, but certainly not good Shellshock: Nam '67 (PS2) -- Will never buy a game developed by Guerrila after this trash AMF Bowling 2004 (Xbox) -- Paid for this game at $10, and I traded it as soon as I could. Ranks among my worst of all time games.
I'll update this if I can think of more.

Oh, yeah? Beat this list o' crap:
Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee Technic Beat(ing) Pitfall - The Lost Expedition (how I wish) Rogue Ops X-Files - Resist or Serve
Now that I think about it, X-Files gets my vote for Coaster of the Year.

As fun as the tv shows were MANY years ago, I stay far far away from games based on them....ie:Dukes of Hazzard, KnightRider, etc

I haven't played any 'bad' games this year, although Kuma War came close.
But how 'bout we vote for worst publisher decisions....
-Starforce nice try, you sneaky bastards
-Steam dial this up, you arrogant pricks

AMF bowling 2004. That is one awful game. I got rid of it as soon as I could. There is no reason I could see myself playing it again.
There was a thread like this, but it could include most dissapointing. This is just the worst game. Not the one that disspointed you or you saw potentioal, the worst game by far.
