It's.... The Weekend Playlist! Encouraging your gaming hobby since 1983, the year in which one of America's tastiest fast food treats was introduced. In fact, I just had some last night--I'm talking about the Mcdonald's Mcnugget, introduced sometime in 1983. My niece and nephews love Mcnuggets.
What shall you be playing this week? Myself? More League Of Legends and inFamous. But enough about me? How about you?

I gave up on McNuggets when I developed adult taste buds. Even Wendy's Spicy are beginning to nonplus me.
Nobody told me that if I played Oblivion I got to listen to Patrick Stuart send me to find his son, Sean Bean. So I'll likely be playing that some.
I might also get in some BlOps, Dwarf Fortress, Tiger Woods, and Space Chem. But odds are I won't get to them all.

I expect a fair amount of EDF Insect Armageddon, maybe some DW Gundam 3, probably some Hunters Chpt 1 and Tactical Warrior on iOS, quite possibly a fair bit of Realm of the Mad God which is entirely too addictive and fun for what it is.

Uncharted 2 360 - Almost at the end I am guessing. Should finish it next play session. Bad Co 2 360 - Vietnam is good. Borderlands 360 - PT2 but I don't know I can stand going through the game again. Might hit the DLC when I can manage it but afterwards a break is needed. May start something new as well.
Depends on the weather as if nice I don't get much time except for at night.

Red Faction Armageddon -360
its very so-so,not a patch on Red Faction Guerilla, maybe because its so linear this time around, but its just very samey all the time that can get a bit boring

you guys forcing yourselves to play bad games for either achievements or 'just to finish it' are crazy. If a game sucks, be done with it and get rid of it.

Change of plans...I picked up Alice: Madness Returns for 360 last night and spent some time with that. The gameplay is decent, but I'm an total sucker for a game with fantastic art direction.

Nobody told me that if I played Oblivion I got to listen to Patrick Stuart send me to find his son, Sean Bean. So I'll likely be playing that some. Now that is successful avoidance of a spoiler, and for quite some time. And here I thought I was behind the times trying to get into Fallout 3. I loved Oblivion. I completed every single achievement, every side quest, and explored every cave and ruin I stumbled upon. My primary advice would be to complete the Kvatch main quest storyline where you have to close the Oblivion gate early on before you've leveled up too much. All other quests were manageable regardless of level, but Kvatch was an unusual exception. Most had little trouble with it, but I had leveled up so much that the enemies I encountered were borderline impossible to defeat. This weekend I'm hoping to give Fallout 3 one more honest try before deciding to move on. If it grabs me, great. If it still doesn't, then it'll be time to try something else.

Forsaken World (PC) again... and again... and again... You folks who can play more than one game at a time just amaze me - you know me, if I get a game between my teeth, I will shake it, flip it, and worry it to death until it is subdued. I should have been a bull terrier I guess.

Then you're good to go. You can explore to your heart's content and level up as much as you want. But once you get to a certain point beware of trolls at every fucking turn.

Played a bit of Black Ops multiplayer yesterday (well, more than a bit), at least up until another wind storm hit the area. We've had three over the past week with two of them causing power outages, including one last night. Around 9:30pm or so I heard heavy wind and maybe even rain and then the house went dark in the middle of a COD MP session. Power was fortunately restored within minutes so that we at least had AC, but our cable and internet were down until this morning. Apologies to those who may have been playing when I disappeared. A wind storm apparently picked up my house and dropped me in Oz, severing my internet connection.

And I think I'd rather have your mentality, Engine - I focus on one thing because if I tried to play more than one game at a time, I would only be hitting the wrong buttons in both games. I play the way I do pretty much because I must. Speaking of which, I believe I left a tiny part of one quest out of a zilion unfinished last night, I'd better move along now. Oh, yeah, and I must be at least a little OCD...

that's the problem of steam sales lol. you're overwhelmed by everything. there's a lot more games I would have bought, but I stopped myself by saying I wouldn't play them by the fall and I can grab them during the xmas sale then.
Plus starcraft 2.

Got Bean back to the Priory, which just sends me off to another location. Does the game remain open world if you finish the main quest line? Played some Tiger Woods and BlOps. Got one more level of Space Chem under my belt. I'm thinking that my brain just isn't set up to manage assembly lines. No DF this weekend, but it still is on my mind.

I had the opposite experience, I've tried to get into Oblivion three times, and every time I'm bored silly after a few hours, or frustrated with the silly combat mechanics. But Fallout 3 is one of those rare games that sucked me right into the universe and I put 150 hours into. Considering how similar the games are, it's strange how one is loved and the other so inaccessible. In theory, Oblivion (esp. with all the cool mods) should be a game I'd play for a long, long time... something about the combat and the leveling system though, just pushes me right out of the world.

still working on it. damn, this game is longer than I remember. That's been my only gripe about Madness Returns so far (just under halfway through)...it just feels too damn long. They could have cut out about 1/3 to 1/2 of each of these levels without really losing anything. The endless jumping puzzles get a little tiring, especially after the 50th identical one on the same level. Thankfully the game is so damn pretty to look at that I still keep at it, just to see what's coming up next.
