(PR shuffles into the thread.. Hot cup of coffee in hand)

Heya there! Welcome to the Weekend Playlist! I'm taking a day off here at the office, so pardon the lack of the historical factoid today.

So.. What will be your gaming pleasure? I don't think I'm doing much gaming at all this weekend. Heading to the MD film festival today. Chilling. Then working two huge caterings gigs on Saturday and Sunday. I might get in, maybe, a match or two of League Of Legends. How about you?

Not sure yet.  I'm pretty much burned out on Xenoblade Chronicles, but don't really want to start anything significant before Diablo III hits.  Maybe I'll go through my Steam backlog and see if there are any quick 8-10 hour games I haven't tried yet.

Played some Grid and SWTOR so far.  Got tomorrow free until evening.  No clue if I'll continue with what I've been doing, go back to Torchlight, or just wander around aimlessly.

I've had gamer ADD the last couple days.  Spent a couple hours with Xenoblade last night, and today I decided to try a bunch of Steam games I bought but never got around to playing much.  Tried out Darksiders (spent 30 minutes trying to get my gamepad to work, with no luck), Sequence (meh), Orcs Must Die (fun, but I get bored with TD games very quickly), HOMM VI (no random maps = teh suck), and Runespell Overture (meh).  Finally settled on an old standby, Dungeon Keeper II.

Also picked up the new Mortal Kombat on Vita...have been quickly reminded why I gave up on fighting games years ago.

About to sit done with he wife, have a few drinks and play some walking dead ESP 1 on ps3. I started it, played through about half of it and decided I wanted to see what other directions I could take the story. Ding! Wife will enjoy this! Start over! Other than that, as usual hotshots was played a fair amount.. Maybe some torchlight or crysis 1 on ps3? Time will tell.

Finally finished the Decepticon campaign in War for Cybertron.  Holy hell was Omega Prime a pain in the ass.   icon_eek

Just started the Autobot campaign and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a huge grin on my face the moment I took control of Optimus.   icon_biggrin

Also tried out The Walking Dead and found it pretty compelling, but the lack of control inversion made the quick-time-events practically unmanageable for me and the game froze partway through.  I'd like to see more, but not if freezing is a problem and the controls need an inversion option.

Such an awesome, criminally underrated game.

Finished up the Euro and US intro tours in Grid and won the sponsor challenges for both.  I've started skipping Le Mans.  It's too wide open for a pinball driver like myself.  Once I make a mistake, I never see the rest of the pack and might as well be driving a time trial.

Couldn't touch a damn thing all weekend. I worked both Saturday and Sunday and went to a film festival on what free time I had. Watched a couple of really good horror films this weekend.. and 'Avengers' was, of course, awesome.

Had a breakthrough with Xenoblade, and ended up putting in around 5 hours.  Closing in on the 40 hour mark, and things are finally getting interesting.
