It's!!!.... The Weekend Playlist, coming at ya from Brooklyn, NewYark, and I'm the Boricua, PR_GMR. So.. Memorial Weekend is finally here. 4 days of nothing much to do (if you work for the right employers). What shall you be playing? I've been working lots but peppering my time off with League Of Legends. Perhaps I shall dig into something else this weekend. How about you?

Dunno. Not in the game mood lately. Maybe get back to FONV as it's been a couple weeks now.

My Fuse review will go live on Tuesday... so yeah, that. biggrin

Otherwise, I'm super busy this weekend. Phoenix Comic-Con is in full effect, and I'll be DJing two parties on Saturday with my friend. Pretty excited -- the big one on Saturday should have over 1000 people there...

Distant Worlds Shadows, playing a pirate faction is really different and fun.

May check out the latest changes in Warframe, Defiance, Star Drive.

Possibly some time in Dead Island Riptide if Kato is around for coop.

I might try to fire up LEGO Lord of the Rings (360) finally.  I also have an untouched Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.

I've had this sitting in my backlog for a long time now. Maybe when I finish up FONV I'll try it out. Heard good things before too.

This is something I might put some play time into this weekend as well. I got too stomped by the Fatimids to continue my game as the Abyssinian empire. Although I did make it to 150 years and extended my empire significantly. I'm thinking west Scotland -a sort of attempt to emulate the glory of the Lordship of the Isles, but bigger and better- but I've been warned that it's about as difficult as Abyssinia.

Neir, great game, although once I found out some things by watching Moriarty play, I felt too bad to actually finish the game myself.

Wait for people to fix stuff had a 50% success rate.  The internet is working, but the dryer still remains in a "can't heat" status.  The repairman said the utility room isn't getting 220v, so I paid him $65 and put in a maintenance request to the front office.  Time will tell how this one ends up.

Now working on "move stuff" #2.  Once stuff starts coming off walls, it begins to sink in.

Dark Souls. Trying to find a way to beat the Black knights and the Gargoyle

For the bell gargoyles there's a nice spot on the left side of the bell tower where it's harder for them to get you.  Also I think they are weak vs lightning iirc, so use a pine resin if you have one.  I sent you a PM with my gamertag if you want some help.

As for my gaming this weekend it will most likely be split between playing three different characters on Veteran in Torchlight 2.  Just got the Berserker to act 3, Outlander and Embermage are not far behind.  It's starting to get tough, I don't even want to think about how bad Elite must be.  Also some Force Unleashed (the original), and maybe a little Payday thrown in.  And most certainly some Halo, Ultimate Alliance 2, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, WWE 13, Kinect, and Mortal Kombat with my three teenage daughters.  They're 14, 14, and 17 now so they'll pretty much play anything.  Maybe some Diablo III with the wife if she has time.

Played about 4 hours of Defiance with the free weekend and watched almost 3 hours of the show.  Left wondering why either is getting renewed.  The game is nothing too special imo, and not what I would drop $40 bucks on.  upgrade paths are weird, the skill system is limited to one skill and a bunch of passives which only slightly tweak your character and every character above trash mob is a bullet sponge with very little reaction to the hundreds of rounds pumped into their flesh.  Arkfalls look nothing like the kick ass one in the show and resort to everyone in range throwing enough lead at the respawning bugs to get a slightly better weapon to sell on the store.

The show featured an incredible cast of D-list SyFy-special actors (and one decent actor from 20 years ago) acting like approximations of much better actors from other shows.

I also played Sacred 2 up to the first crash, resulting in a hard reset on my pc.  should have listened to my backlog and ignored it.

The furniture is clear and I'm waiting on the movers. Still some me-portable stuff cramming the kitchen and closet, but I have all next week for that.

Got up to level 59.5 in Neverwinter last night...couldn't push through to max it out.  Hit the final zone though, so I'll hopefully be finishing the PvE campaign in the next couple days.

Also spent a few hours with Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.  It's a decent hack-n-slash, but doubt it's something that will keep my attention for long.

I totally ignored this and bought a trio of new games on Steam instead.   icon_redface

I played a couple hours of Super Puzzle Platformer (another cool Adult Swim game) and had fun.  Then I was feeling the itch for some Comanche 4 style arcade helicopter shooting and picked up Thunder Wolves.  It didn't quite scratch the itch but seemed OK.

Finally I picked up the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and played quite a lot of that.
