It's.... The Weekend Playlist.. fostering your gaming hobby since 1963. In this year, one of the most iconic pictures of the 20th century during a radical act of protest and deep sacrifice. On June 11, 1963, Buddhist monk Thich Quang Durc immolated himself before a crowd of expectators in Saigon, Vietnam to protest the regime of Ngo Din Diem. The terrifying photo, which shows a gracious Durc being consumed alive by flames, became an instant symbol of protest. John F Kennedy, at the time, said '"no news picture in history has generated so much emotion around the world as that one." The picture has been much republished every since. You may recall it as the cover art for the first Rage Against The Machine record in 1992. Malcolm Browne won a Pulitzer Prize for the photo. Ngo Din Diem was eventually deposed as a result of the chain of actions unleashed by Durc's sacrifice. So.. what's in your gaming deck this weekend? Myself? Still very busy with work search, taxes and producing a film. Any free time I've will likely go to League Of Legends, which I'm now re-obssessed with. I did pay for a second month of Rift (though people are... predictably.. fading away from it).. so I gotta get some more time with it.

Maybe some Rift if I decide to pick it up . I need to buy Portal 2, but the end of Portal 1 turned me off with the difficulty of some of the later puzzles

Red Dead Redemption-Undead Nightmare-not enjoying this as much as the main game, having to clear out all the towns and settlements across the gameworld only when you are half a dozen or so in,the first town gets overrun again...annoying!! Final Fantasy 12-got this down off the shelf and started to play it this morning, taking time getting used to the inverted camera though that i can't change maybe.. Final Fantasy VI-I heard this was coming to PSN which made me get out my original PS1 version, and i may fire it up this weekend..depending on the above two games

I got round 4 of the Hawaiian Open to lose to Tiger Woods and possible some hockey, but I'll probably be watching rather than playing. I should have Killing Tide from Gamefly as well.

Wow: either finish getting Nauls to 85 or more leveling my DK
Backlog Assault: see if I can grind out the finish of Resistance 2. Seriously, Imsoniac: just make another Jak game already. Resistance 2 has taught me you shouldn't be making fps'.
you know, I never did finish Gears of War either...

I have to get these two off of my backlog before I can get to any other games. I expect that I might get some Dawn of War 2 in though...

Crisys 2 now that I've passed the point I was stuck at. Maybe some Halo reach to test out what they want me to test, GR on the 3ds and give Limbo a start.

i'm finally digging into Dragon Age 2 this weekend. i've had the game since release day, but some major work committments have kept me away from pretty much any gaming for the last couple months. despite all the negative comments floating around, i can't wait to get started on a new game!

I pre-ordered Portal 2, mainly because at the time I really just wanted the $20 amazon credit. I had no real desire to play the game, even though I loved the original. However, with the game just a few days away, I find myself really excited for it. The problem? I'm still in Act 2 of Dragon Age 2. So I will try and blast through as much of Dragon Age 2 as I can this weekend, even though I wont have that much time available.

I finished tied for top 10 at Hawaii, but didn't get credit for a top 10 finish. And then the next event of Tiger Woods 12 was a DLC course. Five of the 25 listed events for the FedEx Cup are DLC courses, making a built in handicap to trying to win the tour if you just bought the base game.

Actually found time to play a little Mass Effect 2 on Friday, visiting the Citadel, finding quality ingredients for the Normandy's chef, and completing all side quests within the Citadel. Having focused entirely on organic chem this weekend I am thinking about playing a bit more between classes today as the next few weeks might end me as we roll into the final semester push and gaming time will be severely limited (even more than it has been up to this point).

I spent most of Saturday night drinking and playing Dwarf Fortress. I have no idea why, but I lost about 10 of my 27 dwarves to them going berserk and the only thing I can figure out is that there was an enraging lack of chairs...

played The Dragon Knight Saga most of the weekend... still not very far along and loving the game. Really glad I didn't buy it back when it was Divinity 2.
And MLB The Show 11.

I managed to squeeze in about 1 hour Sunday morning and that was it. I had a few hours Saturday afternoon, but I couldn't tear myself away from watching the hockey and basketball playoffs.
