It's!!!!....The Weekend Playlist, and I'm the Borinqueno gamer, PR_GMR. What will be your gaming pleasure this weekend? It's gonna be a busy one for me: A friend's birthday tonight. Work tomorrow night and I start work on a film crew on Sunday. So...I'm gonna fit in some Guild Wars 2 and that's about it. How about you?

Halo 4 - Replaying this on Legendary solo. Still not sure on the game though. We'll see if it grabs me this time. SW Force Unleashed - 360 - Playing on the hardest setting and stuck on the last big room of the game. Can't quite finish off the group of guys after having to fight the rest of the room too. Whomever came up with that should have been fired. Crysis - PC - Keeps crashing on me so I installed some new drivers but haven't tried it since. Metro 2033 - 360 - Slowly getting through this.

I'm right at the final battle in SystemShock 2, so I will finish that in 15-20 minutes. Then it's on to Kingdom of Amular.

Since neither Ni No Kuni or Fire Emblem have really grabbed me, I'm going to step outside my typical gaming box this weekend. I've had an itch for some stealthy ninja action lately. Since none of the previous Tenchu games are available through PSN as "classics" ( ), I grabbed Tenchu Z on 360. I know it got panned, but I think it's actually kinda fun. Just depends on how you play it and how forgiving you can be of some truly awful AI. I also snagged the latest SSX game. I had a blast with one of these games on the PS2 (Xbox?)...figured it'd be worth a look at the newest flavor. I don't have the twitch reflexes to actually be good at it, but there's still some fun to be had flying down a mountain. I'm sure there will be some iPad pinball in the mix as well.

MWO, War Thunder, maybe something random on the 360. Thinking about grabbing the Star Wars tables for Pinball FX2. If I do, that should take care of a big chunk of the weekend.

Just got my new theater seat in and hooked up my buttkicker speaker so going to play games and watch movies with a lot of bass. One of my friends started playing Dwarf fortress this week and really talking it up so I may give that a try.

decided to give Bioshock another playthrough since Infinite is due at the end of the month, and damn has it gotten buggy. At first the sound wouldn't work, and once I found out it'll work with headphones on I get into the game and find things acting weird physics-wise (items bouncing all over the room with just a bump) and random crashes. I've already played through the game a couple of times without any issues, I wonder what happened to make things so whacky.
oh well, perhaps things will go more smoothly with BS2.

Got a corrupted save game about halfway through and didn't feel like playing it all over again. Hmmm...so we need a stealth action game that's good, but also relatively short so you can review Etrian Odyssey IV before Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate comes out.... I'd ask if you've played Dishonored, but I think we both know how that would go. Specifically, you'd say that you played it back in November and really liked it, then I would spend two minutes doing the forum search I should have done in the first place, read all your posts about it, and agree with you that it was very good. So we'll skip that and act like this paragraph isn't here. How do you feel about the modern Splinter Cell games? Double Agent and Conviction can be had for a song. You could even play co-op missions with Mrs. Gratch and earn a +5% Steely Determination bonus for the Cabbage Gratch Kids! -Autistic Angel

How do you feel about the modern Splinter Cell games? Double Agent and Conviction can be had for a song. I tried them way back when and wasn't too crazy about them. While I enjoy stealth, I don't really care for anything with a "modern military" setting. The Tenchu and Thief games clicked with me as much because of their setting as their gameplay. I might give one of the Splinter Cell games another look though. Which one do you recommend? You could even play co-op missions with Mrs. Gratch and earn a +5% Steely Determination bonus for the Cabbage Gratch Kids! Thanks for the new sig.

I decided to give Skyrim another shot this weekend, this time actually using some mods. It's amazing what a huge difference just a few mods makes...it's like playing a whole different (and infinitely better) game. I'm enjoying it far more than I ever did the first time around.

Which mods in particular were you playing with? - Sky UI (an infinitely better inventory management system) - Quality World Map (shows all the roads) - Categorized Favorites Menu - Ultimate Follower Overhaul - Unofficial Skyrim Patch - HighRes Texture Pack - Unread Books Glow (allows you to see which are skill books so you don't waste your time reading everything) - Purewaters - Convenient Horses - Enhanced Blood Textures - Dynamic Snow - Immersive Armors - Wearable Lanterns - Lush Trees & Grass - W.A.T.E.R. (water and terrain enhancement) Using the Nexus mod manager makes everything quick and easy to install. Love it.
