It's.... The Weekend Playlist! With Christmas almost here, there's plenty of holiday time to enjoy some gaming. What will be your pleasure this weekend and heading into the holiday?
For me, nothing new. Just the usual: League Of Legends, Sim City Social. Can I even login into Guild Wars 2? We shall see. How about you?

Not sure yet. Probably more time with Witcher 2 (360), even though it's become more frustrating than fun. Will try to finish up Asura's Wrath, and maybe some Ravensword: Shadowlands on iPad.
I also downloaded LOTRO and may see what that's all about.

well, seen as though no big thing happened this morning (pfft ),i have to go to the extreme and recreate my own apocalypse and play Fallout 3(okay so it's a Nuclear Apocalypse....same thing more or less) Must admit i am really enjoying it all over again,so much that i was thinking that Fallout 3 may very well be my favourite 'game of this gen'..I know, bold words, but well deserved IMO

It's a long 4-day weekend with no chance of visiting family so I will definitely be playing some games. Probably Forza Horizon Rally, definitely popping into Hawken, maybe some Planetside 2.
I've also been feeling the itch to go back and revisit Tribes 2, and then there are all the other games I haven't started yet on Steam...

If I have time (which seems unlikely), I'll work on the tail end of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

AssCreed 360 - picked this back up to finally finish off. ??? - thinking about an RPG for a change. Either Fable 3, Lost Odyssey, or something similar. Maybe even dig out Enchanted Arms from way down in the backlog.

due to the kindness of Kato, I spent three hours playing FTL. damn fine game. like the perfect short experience that gets deeper the further you go.
I do have FC3 on the list to finish up though. want to get that wrapped before I move on to the pile of new and old stuff thanks to the steam and amazon sales.

wow that is SUPER odd i was JUST taking a look at this one! this is the starship sim ya? kinda kiddie looking, but very deep and difficult? it's structured like a rogue-like. one life for all your crew and your ship. no reloads. you start with a ship and three crew members. you can unlock more ships through the game, although I don't know how you unlock most of them. your encounters are randomly generated in each system you jump to. some are direct combat and others give you a choice of response. some of these are friendly (or claim to be, I was once ambushed in one such event), some neutral and some allow you to skip past enemies. your goal is to survive and make it back to your fleet, while improving your ship with skilled crewmembers, better weapons, and upgrading your ship. In 5 attempts, I have made it to the enemy flagship, who tore the hell out of my ship. From what I have read on the steam forums, there are a few different ways to beat the flagship. here's the larger thread we had link

fired up some classic PS1/PS2 titles I got my hands on: Odin Sphere Final Fantasy IX Persona 3 FESdidn't get to Vagrant Story though. Liking all of them so far, just trying to figure out if adding 200+ hours of gameplay to my backlog is a wise idea

finished up Far Cry 3. in the end I just plowed through the last few missions. I did almost everything I wanted to, but left some of the outposts in case I want to go back through any time soon. I kind of doubt it though as I was beginning to feel the onset of burnout. Hoyt was a much less interesting enemy than Vaas and the disguise you run around in for the majority of the second island takes away some of the spontaneous battles. all in all a very fun game.

Played through more of Witcher 2, still not sure if I like it or not. Nearing the end of Act I, need to decide if I want to keep playing. All the pieces are there (solid combat, good character development, solid story, etc.), but it just isn't really clicking and I keep having to force myself to play. Not usually a good sign.
Also fired up WoW for some reason, probably due to Blizzard offering the Battle Chest for $5 over the weekend. I've tried WoW a couple times before, but never got past level 5-6. I leveled a Hunter up to 13 before realizing that it's just...boring. I think GW2 has spoiled every other MMO for me at this point, so I went back to it and rolled up another toon in the one class I haven't played yet (Ranger).
