It's!!!.... The Weekend Playlist! Encouraging your gaming hobby since 1963... a very tumultuous year in American history. Martin Luther King Jr and peers were arrested for 'parading without a permit' in Birmingham, AL on April 12th. While incarcerated, King writes the noteworthy 'Letter From Birmingham Jail' which introduces the famous quote 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere'.

So what will be your gaming pleasure?

I'm laid out with a cold at home today, but my copy of Transformers: War For Cybertron for the PS3 has arrived. So I'll be digging into that, as well as having portions of Little Big Planet and ModNation Racers for the PS3.

Definitely Call of Duty: Black Ops.  Probably some SP when friends aren't online (tried to play alone yesterday and it just isn't the same - if feels like grinding just to level up), but definitely MP with friends whenever possible.  I'm actually doing something out of the ordinary in doing all of my coursework today so that I can play games the rest of the weekend.  I also really do hope to play a little Need for Speed: Most Wanted so I can finish it before the holidays in anticipation of Hot Pursuit.  Maybe it's time for a homework break.   ninja

I recently got sucked back into InFAMouS on the PS3  (it plays games, who wouldthunkit?), so I'm probably finishing that up.  Hopefully I'll get in some time with AssCreed Bros on the 360, Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga on the PC and Epic Mickey on the Wii (plus maybe finally finishing out Birth by Sleep on the PSP).

I've gotten re-addicted to Dissidia Final Fantasy over the past week, and might actually get around to finishing all the character's stories this time.  Might spend some time with Recettear as well.

I restarted the BLOPS campaign on Hardened -no I'm not crazy or good enough to play Veteran- and I'm going for max intel this time, so 1 or 2 levels of that. And I'm sure my son and I will find some time to get in some BLOPS mplay. I've just unlocked the Arcane Magic spec line -yeah Battle Mage FTW- in my replay of Dragon Age, so if I can find time late in the evening I'll probably do the Redcliff quest and it's sides.

No idea. Too many games to play.

Dead Rising / Blur / Monkey Island will probably get the bulk of my attention.

BlOps 360 - MP - Maybe start Veteran if I'm feeling masochistic enough.
Fallout 3 PC - Want to get back to this as it's fallen to the wayside lately.
Thinking about replaying Mass Effect again. Soldier on Easy the first time through so maybe a Biotic/Tech for my next. Never played ME2 although it's been sitting on my shelf for nearly 9+ months now. Story of my backlog.

Been looking to clear out my backlog of stuff I don't think I will ever get around to any time soon. Sold a few items from it lately but need to dig in and see what other items I can do without. Seems like it was a bunch of PS2 rpgs I'd collected last time I was at storage. Damn, I need to go get them now that I have some time to do something.

Also I have comitted to playing some Starcraft 2 multiplayer with some guys from work.  That will be interesting since I haven't touched the game in a few months.  paranoid

i played a bunch of Overtime! yesterday, followed up by Sick Child Tycoon and today, it's the more of that with the new Sibling Expansion.

if i do get a chance to play on the old console or the pc, it will either be one of the random puzzle games i now have from the steam sale or more ACB.

Pretty much all of my weekend play has been with Metal on Borderlands GOTY.  I'm re-loving this game all over, especially with the extra goodness of co-op play.  This is one of my favorite games I've ever played - and more importantly - I liked it so much that it's one of my favorite games that I've ever replayed.

Finally figured out how to power-level in Dissidia Final Fantasy, and took Cloud from 43 to 93 in one weekend.  I just about finished up the main storyline last night, but got too tired. Hopefully tonight.

It's a shame the learning curve on this game was so steep and turned off most players.  It really is quite a remarkable game.

EA Servers screwed up most of my attempt to play NFS. However, I successfully completed Puzzle Agent (meh) and RE4 (great) and also got in a little BLOPS and ACB.

Played the everloving hell out of COD: Black Ops.  Sunday was an absolute marathon, probably close to six or seven hours.  And for the first time ever in the Call of Duty series I am going to prestige.   icon_eek  I went from level 41 to 49 yesterday, and today or tomorrow I hope to make my first flip.   icon_cool

Hell, I might even do it again now that I know I am capable.   icon_lol

well, the expansion didn't pan out thankfully, but the main game was certainly long enough.  in fact, i have played with Sick Child Tycoon each night since.

Congrats, Izzy! Seven wins is okay in my book - you are one of GT's age-challenged players (over 30), aren't you?  I feel for you... unless I'm wrong, of course - then you are free to flame me.    icon_eek

Metal and I managed quite a bit of Borderlands GOTY co-op over the weekend - I've run into a snag in the "pizza" collection quest so I'm playing solo right now trying to grab that.  I'll either get it today or give up until later.   Two long playing sessions and getting 1 of the 15 pieces I need, won't keep me engaged for long - the "I'll wait until later to get those items" strategy is already beckoning me.  Roll Eyes

Yup, on the downhill side of 34 atm.  Each match is ten minutes or less.  So in less than twenty minutes, I managed to die 45 times.  It was not one of my better times.
