I was going to pick up Blops 2 and Halo 4 to play this coming week when I'm off.

But then work got busy, and two of my days off got cancelled. Now I'm having second thoughts about buying anything - less Thanksgiving time, Christmas is always busy, and in between is crunch time at work. Meh.

Ive a long-hour working weekend head, so I doubt I'll be able to play anything. I did just break 50k population in Sim City Social, so I'm gonna keep going towards 100k (Add me on Facebook if you want to play: Armando Valle).

I will finally have sometime for myself on Sunday night, so maybe some Guild Wars 2 shall be played.

Guild Wars 2 has a mini-expansion that hits this weekend, The Lost Shores.  They also fixed the bug that was preventing me from finishing my character's personal story, so I'm going to try and wrap that up as well.

We're having the first of at least 2 Thanksgiving feasts on Sunday, so it will be limited playtime this weekend.  Probably some XBLA game, something on the Wii and maybe AssCreedLib on Sunday.

The Guild Wars 2 weekend event was a bit of a dud, with many of the questlines required to finish it being bugged.  Tried to finish the main solo quest instead, only to find out that the only time you are required to group in the entire game is on the very last dungeon.     Tried all weekend to find a PUG to complete it, but no luck.  Guess I won't be finishing GW2.   

I've also realized (well, reinforced) that I need to keep nostalgia for games as just that - nostalgia.  With a few notable exceptions, every time I fire up a game that I remember fondly from back in the day, I end up bored very quickly.  This happened three times this weekend, with Okami (the new HD version), Vagrant Story, and Chrono Cross.  They're still all very good games, it's just that the thought of replaying something I dumped so much time into previously doesn't hold a ton of appeal.  I'm better off just remembering them well and leaving them on the shelf.

Actually didn't get to play Halo 4, but spent pretty much all day Saturday playing Blops2.  I wasn't surprised to see friends already at level 50 or higher, but I at least made it from level 1 up to around 26 or so due to double XP.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to take advantage of double XP weekend on Sunday due to having to study for a pharmaceutics lab final.  

I'm wondering if we'll see any double XP for either Halo 4 or Black Ops 2 over the Thanksgiving break.  Either way, I'll be playing a LOT of shooteyface.

Played Sim City Social and a bit of League Of Legends. Couldn't touch GW2 because of the huge download for the new event. It's now downloaded so I'll play it this week.

Knocked off the campaign mode of Blops and Blops 2, and played just a little bit of MP. Pretty good ride, especially after a bad week - nice to get some frustrations out.

Lots of Blops2 played. Got to 28(?) on first prestige. Had some really good matches.... and some really really not good matches. So about par for the course.

No Halo4 since that is back in Springfield.
