You may have heard of him and seen him in classic films like 'The Maltese Falcon','The Big Sleep','The African Queen','The Treasure Of Sierra Madre', and 'Casablanca'. It's.. Humphrey Bogart, who departed this world on Jan 14th, 1957. Amazingly, his wife at the time, screen legend Lauren Bacall, is still with us (she's 86 years old).

So what will be your gaming pleasure? I been playing Dragon Quest IX in spurts this week--having put a crucial ten hours so far into it--so I'm gonna roll with it and play some more this weekend. Of course, I may resist (or not) the beck-n-call of League Of Legends, which I managed to set aside for most of this week so I could get some stuff done. I've a Halloween party to go on Saturday night.. so that will keep me a bit from gaming.

Need for Speed Most Wanted.  I had no idea I purchased this from the Games On Demand section of Xbox Live Marketplace, and now that I've gotten back into it I can't stop playing.  In only a couple of days I'm right back to where I had left off (had deleted my save file).  I'm amazed at how long it took me to get this far the first time around and how much easier the game is now.

Fable 3 for me.  Liking it quite a bit more then either previous version.

Probably much more Mount and Blade.  I'm enjoying attempting the tourneys.  I'm not doing so well at keeping anything aproaching a decent fighting force and wind up getting drug all over creation much more often than I like.

We're heading to a friend's house both tonight and tomorrow night.  Lots of Rock Band 3.  Should we get bored, we might fire up the new Guitar Hero.

Just finished Transformers: War for Cybertron (surprisingly excellent), and now it's on to either Dead Space or [Prototype].  I defy the $60 new-game purchase and seek solace instead in the older games I missed the first time around.  It's new to me!

MINECRAFT!  With the new Halloween update going live I will undoubtedly put a ton of time into that on Sunday.

Probably also some BF:Bad Company 2 on the PC, and I might try going back to some older games like Fable 2, Infamous, etc.

More Dead Rising 2 (almost done with second playthrough) and then random backlogging. Either start something new like Riddick Dark Athena or fire up Just Cause 2 again. Either way, lots of fun for me.

Exactly.  I WANT to play, but without a job and needing new tires for my car there just isn't room in the budget right now.  The cash I've been squirreling away to save for tires has certainly been calling to me to sacrifice a bit for the good of Fable 3, but I know that saving my money is the better choice.  I don't have to like the choice, but I know it's better.

LOL.  actually I restarted and got the pet at level 1, then got to level 9 in the same session and promptly got sucked into other games again just like with my previous attempt.

so far, nada except a bunch of puzzle games and a quick look at metro 2033 to see how it ran (laagggggygg) and to see that chaos rising was enabled. 

damn allergies and benadryl totally wiped me out yesterday.

This weekend I've logged 5 or 6 hours in the iPhone game Game Dev Story.  My crowning achievement after 17 years of business was selling over 8 million copies of one my sequels.

This evening I bought Lego Universe to play with my daugther - so far so good.

I also spent some time playing the World of Warcraft trading card game with my wife, and Pandemic with some friends Friday night.

Put in some time into Dragon Quest IX on Friday afternoon. Got my League Of Legends fix on both Saturday and Sunday.

Spent my time wandering around the world of Mount and Blade, betting heavily on myself in tournaments, working for a couple kingdoms, and setting a few villages on fire.  I'm really loving the combat system, especially the couched lance mechanic.

I completely failed at any FF9 play - too much going on over the weekend.  After things settled down each day though, I exchanged the reading in bed time with playing the iPod game, Undercroft.  FF9 this week though!
