Encouraging your Gaming hobby since 1957 it's.. The Weekend Playlist! So what would be your pleasure, son?

...

I got another Working weekend.. overtime Saturday and more website coding.. but I shall be cramming some League Of Legends in for sure, as I'm beginning to get competitive about it, and I need to also cram in some Starcraft II solo campaign since I wasn't able to touch it this week.

Let's start something new this weekend. I shall keep cumulative track of what games get the most love weekend after weekend.

2010 Weekend Playlist Chart:

Alan Wake: 2
Borderlands: 3
Blur: 1
DarkStar One: 1
Fable II: 1
Final Fantasy XIII: 1
Grand Theft Auto IV: Ballad Of Gay Tony: 1
Gratutious Space Battles: 1
Halo Wars: 1
Just Cause 2: 1
League Of Legends: 2
Madden 11: 5
Mass Effect: 1
Mass Effect 2: 2
Minecraft: 1
Monday Night Combat: 2
Nier: 2
Red Dead Redemption: 1
Red Faction: 1
Rock, Paper, Scissors: 1  icon_razz
Rock Band 2: 1
Starcraft II: 10
Torchlight: 1
Tropico 3: 1
World Of Warcraft: 4

Results: GTers are still burning up with Starcraft II fever.. with 10 of them engaged with it this past weekend. The signs of summer's end are beginning to be seen with the start of football season right around the corner and the release of Madden 11; 5 GTers enjoyed some Madden this weekend. Blizzard continues to hold gamer's attentions and imaginations with its mainstay MMO World Of Warcraft, a game many keep going back to time and again; 4 GTers played it this past weekend.

Hopefully a bit more of Red Faction interspersed between a pool party/BBQ on Saturday and water skiing on Sunday.  Maybe some Madden 11 with friends as well.

Despicable Me and/or Scott Pilgrim will be watched this weekend.

Gaming will likely be a mix of Ballad of Gay Tony and Madden 11 (PS3).

Darkstar One for a bit as it's a good space shooter, even though it's imperfect.
Starcraft 2 for sure.
Maybe some Gratuitous space battles for distraction.

The last 3 days of my 10 day WoW trial is this weekend. I'll probably subscribe at the end, but I'm getting everything I can out of the trial.

Not sure what I'll play this weekend, but I would guess Starcraft 2 if I can get it installed, otherwise maybe some Borderlands, Blur, Tropico 3 or Torchlight.

Finished all I wanted to last night on Crackdown 2 so I'm done with that. Looked at Fable 2 and I don't want to jump back into that since everything's complete so I'm done with that. Fired up Just Cause 2 again to start messing around again and all of a sudden I'm re-hooked. That should keep me busy through the rest of the month.

I'm having my usual 2 or 3 day delay on "predicting" what I will be playing.  I'm almost done with Nier; despite a few bumps in the road for errands on Saturday, I still managed to play a ton of it over the weekend.

So, I predict that I will have played Nier a lot on the weekend of 8/13...   saywhat

Despicable Me and/or Scott Pilgrim will be watched this weekend.

Gaming will likely be a mix of Ballad of Gay Tony and Madden 11 (PS3).

Both movies were watched and enjoyed (Go see Scott Pilgrim!) and Madden was played.  I'm spending more time with the Madden CCG than I am playing my favorite team in Franchise mode.  Mostly offline, as I've already had two online players DNF on me.  Bring on the suspensions!

plugging along with DS1 even though it's polish is worn off and the dull luster is now evident.  got a little time with sc2 and did some of the cooler missions (hello ghosts!)

At least you gave it a chance.  icon_biggrin

Do you even build anything on the 1st level?

I spent a few hours with it last week, but only managed to get in one level over the weekend.  It was the 7th or 8th campaign mission, iirc.

I did finally get Starcraft 2 installed and played 7 missions or so.  And then on Sunday I discovered Minecraft and never turned back.  smile

i ended up playing more SC2 than any one person probably should have. I seriously think I have logged well over 80 hours since it came out.

I was going to take a break with trying to find an ICC raid but apparently people just stopped raiding all together. So until my guild comes back from the annual summer/expansion hiatus i guess i'm done with wow until cataclysm.
