2006 List
Games Beaten:Advance Wars DS: Normal Campaign
Project Gotham Racing 3 (360): All Silver Medals
Dragon Quest 8 (PS2): Right at about 100 hours. I finally completed the additional portions of the game and acquired the "real" ending. What a fantastic game, I'm completely satisfied and it lived up to how hyped I was for it.
Mario & Luigi DS: Great game and well worth playing! Took about 18 hours all told, and felt just right in terms of length and difficulty. Easy enough that kids could have fun with it, but still not a total cakewalk.
Phantasy Star Online Episode III (Cube): Finally finished the first campaign!
Resident Evil 4 (GC): Complete! What a blast; I'm actually planning on replaying this to unlock more goodies.
Jade Empire (XBox): Great game; well worth completing. Loved the story, even managed to get me rather sad in a couple of spots! One of the most atmospheric games I've played through in quite some time. A+
Grandia 3 (PS2): Grandia 1 remains my favorite Grandia game, but this one just edged out Grandia 2 to take second place in the series for my preferred ones. I quite enjoyed this, and even found that the story didn't drop off nearly as badly on the second disc as I was led to believe it would.
New Super Mario Bros. (DS): Utterly fantastic; I loved every minute of playing this game, even if others may deride it for being too much of a retread of old Mario platformer concepts.
Guitar Hero (PS2): HOLY CRAP this game is awesome! *Update 8/7* I'm only stuck now with Cowboys From Hell and Bark at the Moon on Expert to beat. I love this game!
Titan Quest (PC): Wow. This well exceeded my expectations! My favorite game so far released this year. This is Diablo 3 in a different guise, and I mean that in all the best ways.
Final Fantasy I (GBA): I've played the original FF before, but I played all the way through again on the "Dawn of Souls" release, including all the bonus dungeons & bosses, which amounts to a heck of a lot of dungeon delving! Easily doubles the length of the game if you play it to beat all the optional bosses.
Games Playing:Dead Rising (360): zombies! Woohoo!
Dynasty Warriors Empires 5 (360): I've been playing this like crazy since I got it from Gamefly. I've finished the first two campaigns, I love the mixture of strategy and action. Somewhat simple? Sure. But it's a blast regardless!
Front Mission 4 (PS2): Tried this out again to see if I wanted to keep it or get rid of it. I picked up my save game, which was at about 2 hours. I'd really been disappointed with this compared to FM3, but after finally getting a little further and opening up the customization and better missions now, the game has hooked me. Now I'm seeing a very worthy successor to FM3!
Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls (GBA): I'm starting in on Final Fantasy IIj in preparation for the upcoming FFIIIj on the DS.
Guitar Hero (PS2): I wanna be a GI-TAR hero!!!

Just two song in the main selection left on Expert: Cowboys from Hell and Bark at the Moon. Geez, I don't know how I'll ever beat these two!
Games Tossed:Kingdom Hearts (PS2): I put four hours into this, and just couldn't get past the various downsides. I traded it in. Four hours should be more than enough for a game to get fun.
Kameo (360): Just couldn't get the desire to keep playing. The "village" segments bored me practically to tears. I may try this again sometime, but for now it's back with Gamefly.
Star Fox Assault (GC): What a pile of crap.

Where's the star action in my Star Fox game? Barely any flight portions from what I played. Here's hoping the upcoming DS release fixes this.
Super Princess Peach (GBA): I thoroughly enjoyed most of what I played on this title, but by the last few worlds, I just started getting bored with it.
Current Favorites:Titan QuestGuitar HeroDiablo 2 (I've been binging on this yet again lately)
