I've got a bit of a 360 lanparty going on this Halloween and I thought I'd bring the orange box for the TF2 since I'm not a fan of Halo 3 multiplayer.  Does anyone know if there's split screen play for team fortress 2 on the 360?  I'm thinking of hooking up 4 systems with 4 players on each for a nice 8v8 game.

Really? That's unfortunate. Split screen is annoying in Halo due to size, but better than no split screen.

i have hardly tried this yet,as the lag is terrible, there is a patch for the lag coming, but microsoft are holding it back while they test it

some offline version could of been handy so i could get used to everything,i dont like just being thrown into an online game not knowing what everything does, controls etc...guess i will stick to player matches until i have them sussed and then go ranked

You could always play a system link game by yourself to learn all the functions and classes.

I think this patch is out because I bought it for my son yesterday and it updated when he went to play TF2.  He's been playing all last night and this morning and there is zero lag.  None whatsoever.

Go to the main TF2 screen, select "System Link Match", then host it and you'll be good to go on your own.

No need for 2 copies or 2 360's.
