Out of the three new systems this is the only one that we for sure know the final name and specs of. What we don't know are how good the games are, what the full launch lineup will be, what the price and date will be and if the system is backwards compatible (along with many others I am sure).
What are you guys looking forward to out of the Xbox 360? Chances are they will announce whether it has backwards compatibility or not, but supposedly they will not announce the price or date (although that could change if Sony comes out with the information for their system). Is this truly Microsoft's E3 to lose or are people overhyping it a bit too much on that point?
Microsoft's pre-E3 conference is tonight at 7:30pm PT

I'm most curious to see Perfect Dark Zero. There has been so much different media released on it the last few days, with different graphical styles, and different Joanna Dark models its rather hard to figure out what to think. An excellent PD0 probably has the best chance of selling me a 360 at launch and I'm really hoping they have something at E3 much more impressive than we saw last week.
Also, hoping that Bioware announces their RPG using the Unreal 3 engine which I would presume to be 360 bound.

What are you guys looking forward to out of the Xbox 360? Oddly enough, I'm interested in what it can do outside of games. There's a lot of talk about it communicating well with Media Center, or possibly other capabilities along those lines. Supposedly you can watch TV through it as well, so I'm wondering if it's just a straight pass through or whether there might actually be a tuner it, and if there's a tuner, we could also be talking PVR. So any specifics about what it can do in non-gaming functionality will be very interesting to me. Also, any news about the peripherals or what's bundled and what's not (WiFi, hard drive, bigger hard drive, etc.).

I use my current Xbox (modded) to play video off my PC as well as play games. Will the 360 let me do that as well?

I want to know if Oblivion is going to be a launch title or not! I would also like to know a final price point for the system and date.

Should be starting in about 10 minutes...5 minutes ago the lady said 15 minutes. Video likes to jump a lot on Microsoft's site...sheesh, richest software company in the world and they can't open up the pipes a bit?

From ign
"Xbox 360 officially will be backward compatible with the prior system's top-selling games, said Microsoft's Vice President Peter Moore. Microsoft will pick and choose only the most popular Xbox titles from its huge backlist of games and will most likely use emulator software for those limited titles."

OK...10 minutes now...I guess they're getting a bit later.
That sucks on the "selected" titles...wonder what they will be. Like I said in the Console forum, maybe only ones with Live.

Is there anyplace to stream this for free besides the xbox.com feed? The download is so choppy, it's like watching it at 1 frame per 5-10 seconds.

Time to time? I'm lucky if I get a quarter second of anything. I'm giving up and waiting for someone to put up the Cliff's Notes.

WTF is the deal with carry the system in a duffle bag. They did it with the MTV special. And again with a rock video with people doing things other than playing games.
my connection is smooth btw. (and I'm probably cursing it by bragging) /edit: ha, it just locked up.

Interesting...I thought they might do something like that. How are they going to pick the titles though. I can see a bunch of pissed off people if their favorite games are left off the list...

why, oh why did they think this would be a good idea? Probably so they could say "X number of people watched it live." They will have a much more accurate number.

Why am I trying to watch what should be beautiful next-gen game demos on a two inch screen pulling choppy, artifact-ridden, 5 FPS video anyway?
Looking forward to reading your report, AgtFox!

Allard is sounding very hippie cruchy at the moment, going on about "Unlocking the power of people energy." I'm half expecting him to bring out that treadmill controller next.
