stupid Meteos question

I am on the road and all I have for Internet is my phone...

I have been playing Meteos on the plane and don't have the instructions.

I have been winning rounds but when the victory message comes up I have no clue how I achieved it. What are the victory conditions for clearing a planet?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but when you play Single Player, aren't you competing against the AI that also has a board and their own set of pieces (and doing well sends over junk pieces to fill up their board)? I remember seeing something in the upper corner that showed a basic look at their board...
