Well, from the EBGames description:

I think that explains it quite well.

That said, no, I haven't heard anything about this.

I saw it at E3 last year and it actually looked impressive in how well you are able to move around the map and how quickly you can, especially considering how the game uses terrain.  IIRC, the developer went from a crater 14 stories deep, went all the way up, then went about a mile or so to where the action was.  I can try to look at my notes, but I think there are three factions, and it is designed for console controls.

It could be a pleasant surprise.

CA has been struggling with the console games so far, hopefully this is their breaktrhough. Maybe we will get a Total War game later .

Did they ever say if there was a strategic map aspect to this game?  I recall there was talk about that early on in ads, but now I can't find mention of it.
