Steam Giveaway Challenge

As we all know, the final day for the Steam Winter Sale is Sunday.   I have a challenge for everyone.

I'm going to log into Steam when everything goes on sale, and I'm going to purchase 10 games...and give them away.  They may all be $2.50 or less, but I'm going to do it anyway.  They're going to be going to people on my friend's list who have the game in their wishlist.

Here's the challenge:

1)  Do the same thing.
2)  If you don't want to do the same thing, but you get a game from me....do one game to someone on your wish list, and request that they pass it on.

Let's see how much holiday giving we can do to our friends and spread some fun and joy to end the holidays with.  Shall we give a game?

You're welcome.

There's no expectation of buying something for anyone (especially me, as one person did. )  It's a challenge.  If you can't afford it, that's fine.  Keep it in mind for the next sale.  Many of us are not wealthy, but we're also not poor.  I want to try to give back to people.  In fact, I'm thinking for the next sale collecting a list of random people on Steam and doing it that way.

I have two copies of Renegade Ops to give away, but no one has it on their wish list ( that I can find).

I think I'm going to start adding GT group members as friends so I can find them. Going into each one is frustrating. I wish Steam would TELL you who had it on their wish list.

 I'm just now back on the internet so I haven't been able to do much on steam other than buy a few sale items on my phone for the last week or so. Right now I need to go to sleep because I just drove 15 hours, but I'll see if I can't spread a little holiday cheer tomorrow morning before the sale prices go away.

That was an aweseome gesture Purge, many thanks.   Since I don't, nor will likely ever, own the Railworks game that the DLC works with, Is there anyway those beautiful CN locomotives could be gifted to someone who already owns it? Not that I'm ungrateful or anything, but I'm just not much of a train simulation guy.

As well, how long is this giveaway challenge going to be going on for? I don't use my cc for any Steam purchases and I won't have any cash in my Steam wallet until the 6th.    And is it OK to gift a GOG game?

Really? Geez, I never even knew I had a wishlist. I better make sure my son or nephew didn't slip that in my list when I was AFK.

when you fire up steam it should be at the top, right next to where the shopping cart appears when you're buying stuff.  alternately, go to community and profile-  a link to your wishlist should be somewhere on there too.

Well....I finally located my wishlist -and it was a lot of digging in my profile before I located it- and all it says is this:

"Your wishlist is empty! Surely there must be something you want"

Yeah well....Valve is right about that, but they won't let me add "brand new, bleeding edge gaming rig" to the wishlist.
