TheForce.net has the first details on the Star Wars RTS that was revealed a while ago.  It will be set between episodes 3 and 4, and include both land and space battles.

Oh wow, this is good stuff, I really liked battleground so I hope this can be as good or better than that. That was a pretty simple change from AOE to star wars. I hope they can make a new engine or soemthing just for this game, I did notice that the old AOE tricks still worked.

As long as they don't have a techno version of the Imperial March it'll automatically be 100% better than Farce Commander.

I did not like it at all. Its a classic song, why ruin it by making it "new age". Its a Star Wars song in a Star Wars game.

There is definitely some sort of chemical in the CG water that is damaging your brains.  biggrin  They might as well have forcefully sodomized John Williams with a rusty, barb-wire condom.

Honestly, I mean come on. Williams is a master and hes a genius, and they ruin him with that crap. I guess it was upbeat, but who cares when you are ripping apart a classic?

Needless to say, this game sounds quite good.

This game sounds awesome. Give me HW with Star Wars ships but better production than that mod, and I am happy.

Looks good.  I've been burned one too many times by Star Wars game, so i'll be waiting for the reviews before i pick this one up.

Unfortunately its not going to be that. In the article in CGW on it, it states that space battles only use 2 diminsions. frown

This game looks interesting. It might be able to make up for the disappointment that was Star Wars: Rebellion.

Rebellion was such a cool idea but the interface was a monster to wrestle with. I just could never really enjoy it.

I really wished they had developed a Rebellion 2 and fixed the interface where you didn't have the death of 10,000 clicks to move one measly fleet to another system.

Screenshots do not a game make. But they are fun to look at anyway...

Looks pretty cool, but seems awefully cramped in some of those space battle shots.
