There's a post here about the future of games set in the Star Trek universe. Most interesting is that a previously cancelled game may be resurrected - Secret of Vulcan Fury perhaps?

There is some possiblity of this. Interplay came up with a bunch of cash to fund final development of the MMO Ballerium. When asked where they got the cash, Luke Haase said they couldn't say but it involved an asset selloff but NOT IP selloff.  Interplay doesn't own Star Trek ip but they owned the voice recordings and the story work. Time will tell.
