I thought they cut multiplayer all together, or was it just co-op that went away? either way I can't wait.  I should have my new rig by then so hopefully no major issues (ok, so I'm delusional).

I think they scaled it way back, but didn't cut it altogether, and that they were considering cutting it.
I am looking forward to reading reviews! I have a good feeling this will be a solid 75% game that some will love and some will hate.

Not that I really believe this is ever coming out, but that is some SNAZZY packaging.

I can only dream that Fallout 3 gets the same type love for it's packaging.

Those are renders, not pics.  The second one is very strange.  It's a render.... of books.... Bizarre.

Not bizarre at all, it's a concept render.  It's what they use to definitively show how something should look before they go into mass production.  This makes sure that everyone is on the same page before producing millions of copies.

If they go with that it will be a nice special edition from the looks of it.

Hopefully the gameplay is as good as the rendering.

From someone who's done all this stuff before - No one renders out books in full 3d, much less release that render for publicity.  The box I can see, but it's mostly useless to do a render of a book, and rather strange since they're super cheap to produce for tests.  Whatever though.  The manual looks nice enough (although I'm not a fan of the box personally).
