Nope, just a web page, and everyone's is working for me. But Lockdown you need to link the public view of your profile.

I'm trying to create theme packs for people to download or subscribe to right now, but I can't wrap my head around the Sporecast concept. You're supposed to be able to put your own creations into them, but I just can't figure out how. I can head into the Make Sporecast screen and search for creatures, but I can't find my own in there. What am I missing?

Once I get this figured out, I'll add a sporecast specifically for space stage creatures (ie. creatures that have been designed to look interesting in the communications screen).

Thanks!  I just wanted to play all the way to the space stage so I spent maybe all of 2 minutes in designing stuff.  Not much of a creative brain on me, my sister got all those genes.

Just before quitting my latest session I went into Sporepedia and noticed I suddenly have to specify which creatures I want to publish.  That hasn't been there before.  I can now also add my own stuff to a Sporecast, and the "recently downloaded" counter has been reset.  I'm starting to think the servers just haven't been working correctly until now.

They probably don't allow cell sharing because there's very little difference between cells. Also, the enemies you meet during the cell stage appear to be fixed according to your difficulty level.

Did you download a patch or something? I still can't make sporecasts in the game, and can't find my own creatures there either.

Not to my knowledge!  Maybe it was automatic, since EA's crapware loads each time you launch the game.  The only difference between the last time I tried and this time was I got further into the game (about to finish tribal stage).

Looks like the only creature of mine that can be found by the sporecast creator is the one I uploaded before the game's release. This is hugely annoying.

I think their servers may be down.  I've had this error for everyone since last night.

edit:  hmmm...I logged into the site first, then clicked on one of the linked names above and it worked.  i guess you have to log in first before viewing profiles.  in other words: user error

One thing I was surprised to see - All of my creations from my first run-through...   It seems that each 'generation' is saved as my one creature, Clopper, is up there numerous times, but I never actually did anything to share him...

Does the Spore website show everyone my 'Creations', but just doesn't 'share them' (for use in peoples games) until I tell them to share it?  Hmmmm.  I don't see the advantage to automatically sharing all of the iterations a creature goes through.

Yes i agree with this, making small changes to your creature gets him published as a different creature. Slightly different hands or feet and it's a new creature. Maybe you can click on each version and choose if it's published or not, i shall have to try it.
