Isn't that a little misleading?

It said it shipped 2 million, not all 2million have been bought.  Or are they counting that as stores bought 2 million?

Thats the PR spin.  If EB purchases the games, they are purchased as far as Activision is concerned.  They are stating it (and everyone does) from their own perspective.  Think of it this way, if you are selling apples and some vendor comes by and picks up 50 apples, as far as you are concerned you just sold 50 apples...what they do afterwards is no concern of yours.  Its a weak analogy, but what can ya do? slywink

But its good of you to read through the hype!  Never trust what you read! </conspiracy>

However, unlike Atari's PR announcement stating that 2 million copies of Driv3r have been 'sold', odds are that Activision has actually sold a total closer to this 2 million.

If I could, I would buy two million myself and construct a residence from them, in order to be surrounded by perfection at all times.

See, this is why they don't let me review the big ticket games.

It's kinda like the n-Gage "selling" so many units, only not half as funny. biggrin

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

But look at the other side of that: it is possible many people will have it available for trade.  And since most people that want it might have bought it...  score!
