Ok, so far it looks like people have found 360s at Target in the following states:
 
Colorado
Wisconsin
California
Florida
Michigan
Georgia  <---msduncan, go check your local target, you may get lucky!

If anyone wants one....it seems the 2nd shipments are coming in! Best Buy is just going to hoard them all until the 18th cause of their flier advertising the system as in stock on that day, but Target and other stores should have some out on the shelves.

I called Target in Savannah and the front desk asked me immediately (after I asked for electronics) if this was in reference to the 360 --  I said yes -- and she said 'we won't be getting any shipments in until the end of the month'

So I've still a barren spot under my Christmas tree.

Actually its only from December 11th to 16th.  

I think its probably a good practice, personally.  Yeah you'll probably have campers again but at least it gives everyone a fighting chance instead of people having to show up at the store every single day as a few units trickle in.

I like the tactic too in terms of fairness, but it's awfully close to Christmas.  I'd hate to be a parent there and miss a shot at getting one, knowing it's my last chance to grab it before the 25th.  That'd suck.

I'd say your best bet to get one is Best Buy on the 18th. Of course, Wal-Mart won't have a set date to put these out, so you could get lucky just walking into Wal-Mart one day and seeing it there, instead of fighting the mob at Best Buy on the 18th.

If those Walmart numbers are correct it al least sounds like there getting them to the stores as fast as they can with new units every week.
