I am very much enjoying it.  The single-player, so far, is quite engaging and there's just enough difficulty on normal to make it tough, but not sixaxis-breaking tough.

And I've hopped online a few times and have really enjoyed myself.  The custom matches are fun, but they're usually "ONE SHOT ONE KILL ALL WEAPONS" and that grows tiresome.  So I played a ranked game and it was awesome.

Anybody else here play online?

Well unfortunately man I felt pretty much the opposite. I thought the single player was forced, uninspired (unless by inspired you mean copied Half Life 2 as much as possible). I thought the weapons were average, the monster AI mediocre, and the story bland. I also didn't love the online component although admittedly I only tried it briefly.

Hehe, I see some HL2 "inspiration" as well.

The weapons are awesome.  The hedgehog grenade is probably my favorite grenade from a video game.

Agreed on the grenade-its awesome. But the Auger, while interesting, kinda sucks in reality (although in concept its cool), same with the Tagging gun. Don't get me started on the godawful starting assault rifle! Either way, let me know how MP turns out.

I love the topsy-turvey gun from Armed and Dangerous. (area effect like a grenade).

Are you derailing a thread again? Can we get a warning for ban? slywink

Seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing some objective info on this game. I may eventually get a PS3 (depending on BC when it's financially feasible for me to maintain 3 systems).

I played MP for awhile, but it fell into a lot of design traps I'm not particularly fond of in shooters.

I like it a lot.  Love the multiplayer, even though I suck at it.  Something cool about 40 man games with no lag that's something to behold.

I think if Resistance was on the 360, people would be raving about it.  Personally, I like it more than Gears of War.  Gears of War looks better, but I just enjoy the gameplay of Resistance much more.  Having to empty an entire clip into someone and still not kill them is just not my idea of fun.   icon_frown

If any of you guys that have it ever want to get a multiplayer game going, just let me know or post it here.

Have the game, but haven't touched it for a while. I still do need to go back to it, and finish the damn thing though.

Reviving this to add -

Love the multiplayer of this game.  Very easy & quick to hop into a game.  Also like how it keeps a megaton of stats about your play.

Would like to perhaps play with some GTers or maybe even start a clan of sorts?  Anyone still play multiplayer?
