Heh, college student during the summer with a job that gives me a good amount of free time. During the school year? Well... let's just say that I tend to play catch up when it gets close to finals time. Also... I have no life.

Having a job makes finding the money for the games not much of an issue for me, but I have the same problem as you do of trying to find the time to play. Unfortunately, life is backwards. When you're a kid, you have all the time in the world and no money, and when you're an adult, you have plenty of money and no time. My list - Mass Effect Blue Dragon Lost Odyssey Wild ARMs 5 Hellgate London and Mythos Unreal Tournament 3 Hot Shots Tennis Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted would be on the list, but it's going to be a long time before I get a PS3.

I own a 360 now, but will be buying a PS3 before the year is out. So here it goes. 360: Mass Effect Halo 3 NCAA 08 (Right around the corner, YAY!) Madden (It better be good ) Blue Dragon Call of Duty 4 (Never thought they would go modern and get my attention again. ) GTA IV I don't think Lost Odessy or Too Human will make it in 07 or they would be there. PS3 Heavenly Sword (Jumped REAL high on my list after the ign interview/demo) Killzone - Looks great, now if they can just make sure the game play is 10x better than the original. Uncharted Ratchet and Clank Obviously MGS4, Little Big Planet, and a few others are not coming until 08 Wait and See: Assassin's Creed (Was real high on this and still think it will be good, but not great anymore) Blacksite Stranglehold (Starting to grow on me)

Without a doubt it's Hellgate: London for me, closely followed by Mass Effect & Blue Dragon. Lots of other great stuff too, a banner year for certain.

Does anyone know if Hellgate: London is a possible port to the X-Box 360?
If not, what are the expect PC spec's required to run this monster?

I'm not sure its really wise to post such a list due to the size and the eventual hit to my wallet, but what the hell (also note that any cross-platform or sports title is by default listed on the 360 because of the controller and Live functionality-if they prove to be better on PS3 I will buy them for that platform in a heartbeat).
360: Assassin's Creed Blue Dragon Eternal Sonata GTA IV Mass Effect Halo 3 Madden 2008 Call of Duty 4 Tiger Woods 2008 Bioshock*
PS3: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction Little Big Planet (please!) Lair Heavenly Sword Warhawk Hot Shots Golf 5
PC: Bioshock* Unreal Tournament 3 Crysis World in Conflict Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts GRAW 2

Are you planning to buy one regular edition to play, and then one Collector's Edition for both the 360 and the PC to keep sealed on your shelf for all time? Dude, I thought I was looking forward to that game, but you are HARDCORE! -Autistic Angel

it's the WiFi signals messing with your brain!!!!! or it could be that you have your head tilted at an odd angle (looking down) while playing those two as opposed to consoles on bigger screens (looking forward).

My top picks: Mercenaries 2 GTA IV Unreal Tournament 3 (although I may just wait until next year’s 360 version) Halo 3 Half-Life Ep 2/TF2 Stranglehold
When I get time/money list: Assassin’s Creed Project Gotham Racing 4 (the bikes make it less appealing to me) Beautiful Katamari Mario Galaxy Smash Brothers Bioshock

PSPNov. 6 - SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical Strike (the series veers in a more strategy-oriented, somewhat Full Spectrum Warrior direction) Nov. 19 - Warhammer 40K: Squad Command (turn-based strategy with destructible environments) God of War: Chains of Olympus was pushed back to March 2008 (or First Quarter 2008, depending on where ya check), though the playable demo UMD supposedly started going out to those who signed up for it at the official site a while back. Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice's U.S. debut was pushed back to January 2008 (though UK sites are already reviewing it overseas). Although I'm a big PSP junkie, beyond the above two, I haven't seen much that interests me on the preliminary 2008 PSP release lists (there's a useful PSP release list at IGN: ( http://psp.ign.com/index/release.html).

Rock Band.
Rock Band.
and
Rock Band.
I'm also getting Guitar Hero 3 for my 360, so I can have a second guitar hero controller for Rock Band.
But that's the only reason for me to buy GH3 on 360. Otherwise I'd buy the PS2 version.
On a normal year, I might be more interested in other releases. But this is no normal year. This is Rock Band year.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men Damn it...forgot about that. In. As for Soldier of Fortune, that kinda came out of left field with no indication that it exists and it is almost out the door. I'm wait and see in a big way on that one.

yeah, the hype on it has been pretty low. I'm hoping it will live up to SoF2 but I'm keeping my expectations low. From EBGames: Built to harness the power of next generation- Featuring an incredibly realistic modeling system allowing for accurate hit detection and detailed damage modeling. Enemies will not only react to the specific area they've been hit but also to the power of the weapon they've been hit with.
One of the most lethal collections of weapons ever assembled - Over 30 of the baddest weapons including sub-machine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, projectile explosives, weapons attachments and futuristic prototype weapons.
The world's most dangerous hotspots- Players will find themselves thrown into authentic mercenary situations in real world hotspots around the globe. Survive and ambush and rescue a diplomat, infiltrate a terrorist organization, go on a search and destroy mission and much more.
Enemies around every corner- High intensity combat situations where players will need to take down over
15 unique enemies including terrorists, mobsters, insurgents, enemy soldiers and more.
Online multiplayer- Play your favorite individual and team based online modes including death match, team death match, elimination, team elimination, capture the flag and demolition. Additional online options include maps tuned specifically for multiplayer action, and persistent stat tracking.
Compelling new storyline- When a routine escort mission goes horribly wrong, players find themselves battling an insidious enemy that knows no boundaries. As mercenary Thomas Mason, players will need to uncover and terminate an extremist plot aimed at throwing the world into global chaos.
hopefully something like the GHOUL system is being used to show damage- I miss shooting someone in the neck and hearing the gurgling sound as they die

Damn, well as long as they're the baddest, I better pick this game up! Just so you know, the new Soldier of Fortune game is being handled by Activision's budget label, so don't get your hopes up too high.
