...and the game I'm playing is Animal Crossing.
This game has to be the most sickeningly cutesy thing I've ever played and I'm praying no one walks in on me while I'm playing it. It's also oddly addicting and I wonder why I've been spending so much time with it.
Shake the trees, write a letter, talk to the animals...so much to do. I guess it will be a guilty pleasure.
I'll also mention that the triumvirate is now complete and I have all three consoles (my willpower crumbled!), but I shall only use the GameCube for GC exclusive games. That's the plan anyways.

That's basically what I do. The Cube gets fired up about once every 4 months, but oh what a time I have when I do. For multiplatform releases, I'm all about the Xbox.

I'll second that, though I have to add that some of the best party games are gamecube, so don't forget to get those titles, even though if they're not on your A-list.

While we're on this topic, what are considered the Gamecube must haves?
Right now I have: Metroid Prime (which is quite good) Super Smash Brothers (the best fighting game I've ever played) F-Zero GX (an insanely hard, but fun fast-paced racing game)
Are there any other really good party games? And what other Gamecube exclusives are really, really good?

I agree, especially since I wrote the review (it's an old one with the way old system...i.e. older than the last CG system)

BTW, Circuit City has Eternal Darkness for $4.99. The one by my house had about 20 copies in stock... Oh, and as far as Cube 'must-haves', just head on over to http://www.gamerankings.com, go to Adv Search, and look for the Top 40 Gamecube games - should give you a pretty good cut of what's good for the Cube (and don't forget about Tales of Symphonia this week).
