I've seen it mentioned in a few different threads but so far I haven't seen any actual impressions other than what's on the usual news sites.  has anyone here picked it up?  Best Buy has it on sale for 40 bucks this week and I'm tempted to get it, but with the new Shadow Hearts coming out next week (and hopefully I'll have the original Shadow Hearts in my hands sometime this week) I'd like some opinions on the game.  You guys swayed me to get Radiata Stories and I'm liking it so far, so I know I can trust your opinions  biggrin

Because I can,
also because I don't care what you want.

Wait for it to hit $30. Tales of Legendia, thy name is mediocre.

INCOMING REZ ON >>%thread<<

I've had this for about a month now and have been playing it pretty slowly.  Which sort of works out because it's very slow to progress into something interesting.  However, after about 15 hours, the game has actually become intriguing to the point where I play it over the other console stuff I have.  A shame the graphics have to be so butt-ugly compared to Symphonia, though -- I REALLY wish they'd stuck with 2D.

I'm glad to hear it gets more interesting.  I've been playing on and off for a while, but I'm not finding the battle system to be as enjoyable as Symphonia's.  I disagree about the graphics, though - I think Legendia looks better than Symphonia, although they're both very nice-looking games.
