I'll be getting the PS+ edition of Driveclub (as will everyone else with a PS+ subscription) and will likely upgrade that to the full version.

I'll be interested to see how the reviews for Styx: Master of Shadows turn out.  The preview content they've been putting out has looked so polished, I initially had no idea it was a PSN downloadable title.  I like stealth games, and I've been on something of a fantasy kick lately with Shadow of Mordor, Age of Wonders III, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

On the downside, Styx is made by Cyanide Studios, a developer that has become increasingly notorious for undercutting its awesome game mechanics with the most brain dead AI this side of Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.  It wouldn't surprise me learn the AI guards in Styx have dialogue like, "Eh?  What was that?  I must be hearing things again....better jam this dagger into my own ear to be sure-BLRRK!"

Costume Quest 2. I had originally planned to pick up Forza Horizon 2 this week, but I think I'm going to wait until after I've finished Shadow of Mordor.

I'm keeping an eye on reviews for Styx as well.  I'm always a sucker for a good stealth game...hopefully this one delivers.

I'll be getting all of the PS+ Stuff. Which this month equals a lot of games that I will actually play.

I also grabbed Banner Saga for iPad this morning.  It's a game that I tried on PC, but it didn't really click with me for some reason.  Hoping the portable format (engrossing TBS games are godsends for cross-country flights) changes that.

Same here.   Alien will probably be a buy some time down the road, but I'm still in the middle of Mordor.

I'll finish paying for the services of my wedding photographer, probably purchasing the use of an awning, as it's currently expected that there will be rain on my wedding day.  And it's anything but ironic.

I'm also watching reviews of Styx.  Not that I need another stealthy game right after Mordor, but it looks to be less combat and more true stealth.

I had to smile when I read this. My wife and I got married in her living room by a public notary, no ceremony, no guests, the only expenses were the rings and the new dress she wanted, although she specifically bought one that she could wear to any formal occasion (she's the money manager in the family).

We will celebrate 35 years of marriage next month. Mind you, it will be between the releases of Assassin's Creed Unity and Far Cry 4, so she understands we will only be going away for the weekend slywink

I might be taking a look at Alien Isolation, but some of the discussion I saw about save points being far apart has me concerned.

Didn't Cyanide put out Aarklash Legacy? (think I misspelled that)

if so, it was fairly well received by players, and apparently the AI and difficulty were solid. hopefully this translates to Styx, which I'll pick up this week, as it is 20% off on Steam.

Yeah, that was their most recent release, I think , so that might bode well.  And Of Orcs and Men wasn't terrible, it got a 69 Metacritic, so hopefully they can improve on that or even just make a good niche game.

By the way those crying gifs are pictures of Maggie Simpson in Tapatalk. Odd.

I am very curious about Alien but am going to wait for impressions. Plus I am hoping for an excuse to play backlog since Borderlands and Sunset Overdrive are coming up fast, plus I need to decide which, if any ill be buying out of Far Cry, Dragon Age and GTA.

I've played for about an hour on the PC and haven't noticed any problems.  I have a GTX 780 and it automatically put the settings to max for 1080P.  There are quite a few graphical options to tweak if you have an older system.   I am playing with a controller so I'm not sure how well the kb/m works but I thought I saw where you could remap keys.  The FOV is set to 45 and you can change that as well, I've kept that amount because my PC is hooked up to my TV.
