coming soon in Unreal Engine 3 vision!  yep, they're ditching their proprietary engine for Epic's.  seems kinda odd because the last game, Testament of Sherlock Holmes, didn't look all that bad (haven't played it yet though, waiting for a decent sale on it, so that's just judging from trailers and screenshots).

the new look:

(they look kinda stiff, hopefully it's better in motion)

this time they're promising the cases will be more open so the player can proceed as they sit fit, and there will also be moral decisions that will affect gameplay.

I like point and click adventure games, but this sounds great too.

Is that Holmes in the back on the right. If so, why does he look so much like STNG's Data?  icon_eek

Otherwise, sounds like this should be decent game.

These games have never been great, animation-wise.  They seem to take a lot of shortcuts (witness Creepy Watson), but the gameplay usually makes up for it.  Not spectacular or anything, but pleasant and entertaining.
