Not sure if I'm see Ant-Man as the reviews have been in the middle range.   I plan on playing some more Elder Scrolls Online  on the XB1 and hopefully, boot up Her Story on the PC

So what's on your plate this weekend

Fallout New Vegas - although I am finding out that my gear sucks and I can't get past the stupid Legion assassins that are popping up

Mini Metro - Still trying to get the Berlin Steam achievement

Dawn of War 2 - been playing it off and on and it's still fun. They patched it though and now it crashes. It was a very stable game up until a month ago. That may limit my playing time

Of course it's finals next week, so I don't have much play time this weekend...

Should finish up Witcher 3. Then back to Legends of Eisenwald. I played the early acts, now I get the full game!

On vacation this week, so it's only iOS and board games for me.  Bouncing between FF IV and Icewind Dale, and my brother and I will be diving into the bowrd games tonight with the X-Wing miniatures game.

That reminds me: how do you feel about this Nier performance that everyone's been going on about?

First I've seen it.

Sounds fine, not too terribly different than the original though.  They didn't do anything special with it, arrangement-wise.

Interesting.  I'm not familiar with the song, so I wasn't sure how it compares.

Now that the Witcher 3 patch is out to improve Geralt's movement, are you going to give it another go?

You should also report back on the X-Wing miniatures game.  Matt Thrower over at No High Scores has been really hot on it and the various expansions.

I definitely need to get back in and finish Witcher 3.  I got my full set of i180 gear in FF XIV right before we left, so the only thing left to do is run the new raids over and over again for 190 gear, at least until the next big story patch comes out.  I burn out on repeated raids pretty quickly, so that should give me some time to get through Witcher.

X-Wing miniatures is an absolute blast.  Granted, I'm not a big board gamer so I don't have much basis for comparison, but we played three games today and I came way completely enthralled.  My brother has all sorts of "extended" sets like the Millenium Falcon, Slave 1, Blockade Runner, etc, so we might jump into the bigger ruleset tomorrow.  Very highly recommended from this board game noob.

Rocket League, Path of Exile and a bit of Ant-Man in Marvel Heroes

edit: Gratch, X-Wing really is amazing and I wish I had more people to play with.  Haven't played in 6 months or so. frown  I am staying away from the 'epic' ships and rules, but the other stuff still counts and is a blast.  Love the Falcon in all it's OP goodness

Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, Talos Principle, and the new Pinball Arcade table for this weekend.

I hadn't played D3 in forever but recently the expansion was on sale for 50% so figured I'd give it a go again. Wow they really improved the game since I initially played and finished upon release. The story is crap but the gameplay is fantastic fun. They also made a lot of tweaks to simplify things that were just time wasters or clunky.

I made a new character with the expansion Crusder, which is basically a melee class. Normally I don't like playing those classes but this one is a lot of fun. There's a shield charge that puts me right in the middle of the action and then triggers area effect spells while in the center just leads to glorious carnage. Also like you can switch out the main attach with a pretty effective range attack that will hit multiple monsters.

I'm putting in about an hour a night doing a small section and advancing the story and just having a lot of fun.

For WoW, which I can't believe I'm still playing, I'm finishing up stuff to do in the new jungle zone they added during the last patch. It's been surprisingly fun for the L100 characters. Last week I completed the achievement needed to enable flying in last expansion - although you can't actually fly till the next patch. The achievement actually was pretty fun to get. There was really only one part where you had to grind a bit to get some reputation up. Other than that it wasn't too difficult.

Talos Principle's expansion comes out today so will be playing that for sure too.

Pinball Arcade is releasing a really unique pinball machine tomorrow - Safe Cracker. The game is part pinball and board game you play on the backglass. I've played it a few times in real life and its a blast. There's two modes to the game. One is a timed count down where you have unlimited balls until you run out of time - it can get hectic trying to win back more time. The second mode is standard 3-ball where you can win a unique oversized token (20 different tokens total). In the real game when you won a token it would spit it out at the back of the table where it would roll down the glass and you would have to snatch/catch it. You could either keep the token (which most people did) or put it back in the machine to enable a special game mode.

The pinball portion of the game is a speed demon in real life so will be interesting to see how close it plays here.
