Scans from a Japanese magazine has revealed that a new Shadow Hearts game is in the works. The game is set in the good 'ol US of A in 1929. Scheduled for release in Japan this summer.

Yeah, looks like a completely new cast of characters for this one. Given what Kevin Gray said about Covenant's sales, I wonder if Midway would even consider publishing it. Hope so...

That makes me a little nervous.  One of the reasons I liked that series so much is the relative lack of angsty 13-16 year old main characters.  Not too excited to see they've chosen to have the design team attend 'Standard Japanese RPG character modeling 101' class.

Great news, plus there's a good chance it will be released in the US.  According to an interview with one of the developers of the series, the game sells as well in the US as it does in Japan, so it they get the sequel, we should too.

This is such great news, seriously, I can't wait.  The second set of screenes has a Lucia-looking character, which is alright, but I never really did tinker with her during the game.

I'm just really excited.  And anything is good news after slushing through Xenosaga II and beating it last night.  The ending made me really want a Xenosaga III, but geesh, did the later half of that game drag on somewhat.
