I have a friend wanting to buy my PS3.

I'm wondering how transferring games I've bought from PlayStation Network works?

Can he somehow access what I've bought and use on his account. How does that work?

if you de-activate it and delete your PSN info from the system he won't be able to access anything.  PSN ties your games to your account, so if he doesn't have the password he can't log in.

So is there anyway to do it?  This is someone I trust to temporary use my account.

oh, in that case just give him your username and password, but he'll have to be using your account and won't be logged into his.  don't de-activate the system.

actually, if your system is set to automatically log in you probably won't have to do anything beyond handing it over.

You can not transfer ownership of your purchases to his account. The only option I know of is for him to continue using your account.

He might be able to create a new ID and add it to the system that already has your downloaded games on it.

At least when I created a new online ID, all my games that were tied to the other ID still worked. Just couldn't re-download anything on the new account.
