October 17th on GameTap, November 1st for everyone else. No anouncement on what the regular pricing will be. It can't be alot, since they risk people just signing up just for a month of Gametap per episode if they charge to much. Whatever they do, Sam & Max goodness is finally on it's way!!!!

Probably $12.99, Gametaps 3 month trial for $19.95 sounds like a bargain with that thrown into it. Or maybe a wise time to use the 1 month free trial coupon, sometime around October.

Based on the thread title, I thought the Sam & Max series was taking a very strange turn. :icon_eek:

Beat me to the punch. Good news I say. The fact that it has a shelf date (virtually speaking) is the best news I've heard about Sam & Max in a looooong time.

There is a pair of new gameplay videos available that you can grab from 3D Gamers, et al. Maybe our fearless leader Ron will see that we get a local copy. Hint, hint.

Hehe, nice try Ceekay. But hooray for it being done!
Hopefully they are almost done with the next episode because by the time they are finished with testing they will need to release it. Honestly, they had damn well be near finished with the whole thing if they are planning on releasing monthly episodes with machinima interstitials between. Or else we will be seeing some unplanned delays. My money goes towards delay by episode 4.

Supposedly they were supposed to get well ahead of the curve in order to ensure monthly updates but who knows how they've actually got.

Oooooh yes. We SHOULD have a Day 1 review of this game. I'll be handling that personally. I'm literally giddy here.

Pricing of Sam and Max. I think i'm going for the whole season pricing Without further ado, here is the pricing for Sam & Max: Season 1:
Individual episodes: $8.95 The entire season: $34.95
Buying the entire season gets you access to each episode as soon as it comes out on Telltale's site (we'll send you an email to let you know it's available), and next spring you can get a CD version of Season 1 for the price of shipping. Remember, there will be six episodes in Season 1, which means buying the whole season up front will save you almost $20. We'll start taking preorders for Season 1 in a couple of weeks.

Tals Ditto. This is one game where I am willing to support them up front to help ensure the success of future episodes.
