Edge Review - 9  not as swooning as the others, so a good choice if you are gta4 weary.

the old thread has served its purpose.  Time to move on.  I'll update the top with any notable reviews.  

Now, to start, who's going to a midnight release?  I won't be able to dive in until tomorrow, but at least i will be working from home so i should be able to sneak in a bit from time to time.

Dead Eye carries over to multiplayer, but works in real time. While this may not be as powerful a tool as it is in single-player, it preserves the gameplay balance and comes in handy when you find yourself behind a group of enemies.

if it plays out in real-time, it must be something of an "auto shoot all available targets kind of thing."  i hope it's not as easy as that, but otherwise, i have no idea how to make it work in mp where there are already problems with lag ruining people's satisfaction.  see MW2

they already showed it in one of the first trailers.  You hold the dead eye button and can sweep over targets to paint them. It was covered in the previous thread.  I guess your handy dandy new thread needs the info though.

No midnight release for me.  I won't be playing this one until Tuesday evening.

From information I have gleaned, there is no lasso in any online mode.  There is also no skinning.

I have yet to see a train online, but I have heard that they are there.

You also get unlimited horses.  If something happens to your horse, you just wait a few minutes, issue the whistle command, and in trots a fresh new horse for you to ride.

It's absolutely confirmed.  There is no lasso in online.  I've watched plenty of online games over the past several days.  The Rockstar guys even made an apology about saying the lasso was available online in that Kotaku Talk Radio recording last week.

I'll be picking this up around 10am. Pharmacy won't have my pain meds ready till then. Ill pick them and the game up, come home and load the game up while I load myself up(detailed the car today..good lord I'm hurting) and then I'll just jump straight into MP and try SP later on.
