Okay, I know this was discussed, but I believe it was over on GG, and I can't find the instructions over here.

How do you pull the music out of the game files for Rome: TW?  I found the .dat file, but what do I use to get at the music, and how do I split it into individual track files?

TWcenter.net has one that extracts all the sound files. It can be found at http://www.twcenter.net/downloads/db/?mod=32.

Didn't everyone get a music CD with the game?   Is there other music in the game that people want?

The music CD was a bonus item that was included only with copies purchased from a certain retailer. I believe it had about 20 tracks (iirc from the last thread on GG where it was mentioned), while the actual game has 38 tracks if you use that utility linked above.

Good information, thanks.  I didn't realize that the music CD came as part of a special package.  I'll have to rip the tracks and see what else there is, as I like the music.
