Worthplaying has a lengthy gameplay video for Level 5's (of Dark Cloud and Dragon Quest 8 fame) upcoming RPG Rogue Galaxy. The game is looking great, and it even looks like there will be some Dark Cloud-like building. The game comes out next month in Japan, and hopefully the US localization will be quick. |

I just watched the video and it looks to be another winner from Level 5. As soon as this comes to the U.S., I'm IN. Agreed. Of course, all this is going to change, when they butcher the game by using bored STOCK_ANIME voice actors from California. Maybe we'll get lucky and get the same voice quality as in DQ8. That would be the bee's knees. |

I only needed to see about a minute of the trailer to know that I am all over this game. I just wish they'd localize it as they developed it. I hate waiting so long for these games to come over.
Factor 5 has come a long long way since Dark Cloud and they are making better and better games. Yay them!

Damn that looks fun.
I find it funny that I've gone all these years without a PS2, but suddenly there's a wealth of games that have me interested. Right at the dawn of the next gen, no less. That's just goofy.

Given that the devloper's last 3 games have all been big commercial and critical successes, I'd say there's no way it won't make it to the US.

I am bringing this thread BACK TO LIFE. I think this is releasing relatively soon here in the states. I know next to nothing about console RPG's - but this is sci-fi and it looks kinda cool. Free Demo disk came out last week if you want to play one of the forest dungeons and see the game.
Dark Cloud 2 graphics + Space Pirates + Skies of Arcadia-esqe storyline = Me ruining boxers nightly.
