Worthplaying has a track list and information about importing/exporting songs.

After seeing the track list, I'll pass on this one.

I found a song...

# Europe, “The Final Countdown”

So uh...that's an expensive song for me.  I think I'll pass too. :/

I actually like most of the songs.

But Queen, Bowie, Katrina and Ray Parker, Jr make it a must-buy for me.

so you'll only be able to exports songs if you buy a enw copy?  guess they learned from RB1 getting rented only to export songs.  I'm interested in 20 out of the 45 songs, which would equal 40 bucks if they were DLC, which comes short of the 60 buck price tag.

Who knows, I'll probably play some of these and love them, but on the surface I'm not all geeked.

I'll probably pick it up for Super Easy mode.  My 7 year old would love to play, but regular rock band is too tough for her and is not enough of a "game" for her on No Fail mode.

The PS3, 360, and Wii versions will all cost $50, according to Gamestop.

the 50 buck price point makes it better as I'm sure there will be 5 more songs that I'll unexpectedly like.  looks like we'll be rocking out on November 27th, which is later than I originally thought but good as it won't conflict with my Dragon Age time.

I see the tracklist as being more mainstream stuff which will be good for parties or for getting my wife to play with me and getting my toddler daughter to dance to the beat. I'm in.

After checking a few gameplay videos on youtube, I'm now sold on this game.

Pretty much this is everything you need to see:

Ray Parker - Ghostbusters

I *love* the dreamscapes from Rock Band Beatles. So I can't not buy this.

Easy mode is pretty much RB easy mode.  There's an additional super easy difficulty for all instruments.  On guitar, that means you just have to hit the strum bar at the right time, buttons don't matter.  On drums, you can hit any pad for any not, and for vocals, all the tubes are treated like "talky" parts, so you just have to make noise.

Thanks for the info. She likes to play but she has trouble sometimes. The super easy might train her to get the rhythm instead of focusing on the bars.

I can't believe that this one doesn't come with the option to buy it with instruments.  This would be a perfect gift for my niece and nephew but they don't own any of the real Rock Band titles so they don't have any instruments.

Gamestop's still selling the RB2 bundle for $100.  That plus Lego is still cheaper than a Lego bundle would've been.

Any way to turn off the DLC filter? I want to play with the cool lego animations, but not having half of my DLC available utterly kills the game.

Also, why are the few available songs from the queen pack grayed out during story play???

Here's a partial list with the recent DLC that won't be available due to being 'too mature' for the game.

I am thinking of buying the Wii version of this for my daughter to play. Am I reading this correctly in that the game is not available with instruments? Can you play it without them just using the Wiimotes?

I currently have all of my RB 1 and 2 goodies on the 360 but the Wii is a much better option for her.

Okay, so I read an explanation for the Queen stuff. It's available in quick play, but not in story play. It's grayed out until you unlock the queen stage or something. Apparently the same is true for Spinal Tap.

I love the level design in this game. I think some of the unique settings really liven up the game - the halloween setting for example is perfect for playing songs from the maiden pack. All two of them that are available to be played.

Also, only 19 of the 49 songs I have on my hard drive from Rock Band 1 are actually available to be played in Rock Band 2. Apparently, each song now has a rating from 0-3 attached to it, and only 0 rated songs are available for quick-play in LRB. So anything with the slightest level of offensiveness is migrated to the higher tiers. A lot of songs fall into this category.

With the really cool level design and new story to play, Lego Rock Band would have been a really cool way to freshen up the Rock Band genre. It's been a few months since the last time the RB2 disc has graced my drive and it has gotten very stale - and being able to have new levels to play on and a new story to play through would have been a good way to get back into it. Unfortunately, losing 50% of my downloadable content makes me mad. I should have done more research. I would not expect Run to the Hills to be available but the level of censorship is insane. I can't figure out who this is for.

And I don't think I'll ever understand a parent who would let their child listen to Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark before Alanis Morrisette's Ironic or Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime.

There is no lego rock band instrument bundle. You have to buy either Rock Band 1 / 2 or the instruments separately.

I think that's right.

I haven't done it yet, though.  I'm not sure I've been given the option.  I'm hoping I don't have to unlock all the songs first.

You don't. After a small download you go to the music store in Lego RB.  There will be an option for the export.  It costs 800 points and is 1.2 Gigs in size.

I finished the story mode last night just in time to trade this for MW2.  Alot of fun charts on both guitar and drums. And alot of songs I will probably never play in Rock Band 2 (Aliens Exist, Word Up).

Two Princes is crazy on drums.  I had no idea this would be the hardest drum song in the game.
