is it just me, or does this look to be as potentially good as just about anything else coming out this summer? (supposedly next month):

I've been following Riviera for almost a year now through some import sites.  It doesn't look deep (though I can't read japanese to get a feel for what people are saying) but it looks nice.  From what I can tell, it's quarter dating sim and 3/4 srpg.

okay, that explains the number of female companions, and this: "All characters (Ein and Ledah excluded) have two emotion-based stats, 'Mood' and 'Trust.' Mood is just what it says, and the mood someone is in can affect his/her battle performance. Trust is slightly more important in the long run because it measures how much the character trusts Ein and will affect the ending."...
