There is a
little article at IGN
about the impending release of Chronicles of Riddick: Butcher Bay which was previously released on the XBox.
It mentions the additional features for the PC release and includes 3 new screenshots that make the game look pretty stellar in high res. By my reckoning it looks as good as Doom 3, but I haven't seen it in action of course.

That's an appropriate price. It's a great game but barely 5 or 6 hours worth. Of course, plenty of other games have got away with slappin' a $50 tag on something that like (i.e. Max Payne 2).

I'm fairly excited about this one but didn't want to get it for the Xbox. Shooters on consoles are simply wrong. Whenever I play a FPS on a console, I find myself thinking to myself: "self, wouldn't this be so much better on a PC?"
I always seem to answer back with a resounding "yes"
This is the point where the wife looks at me funny while i am muttering to myself.

My Blockbuster has tons of Riddicks for Xbox for $22. Hard to beat unless you just can't stand consoles. I personally found it to be a contender for my game of the year on any system. Probably will go to Far Cry, but Half Life 2 is coming ofcourse.
At any rate, if you don't have a rig that will run Riddick, the check out your local BB.
