This just begs the question that I have been asking for what seems like ever: Just how hard is it to produce GOOD cover art? It really isn't that hard, people! Damn, if nothing else I would just throw the Rainbow Six patch and an MP5 on the cover and call it a day.
You know what had a good US cover that really shocked me? R-Type Final. The cover alone sold me. They could have resorted to the tried-and-true 8-bit roots with a scary alien on the front, but they didn't. They highlighted what the game is about, and that is a beautiful render of unique space ships stretching out into the horizon.
