Is this the game that was once slated to be released by Conspiracy as Road Trip Adventure Avenue (the sequel to the earlier Road Trip game on PS2)? According to Conspiracy, Sony wouldn't allow them to release it. If this is the same game, how did Altus get the rights and Sony's permission? Whatever the case may be, I'm STOKED. Road Trip is one of the real hidden gems on PS2, and I was crushed when I heard that Road Trip Adventure Avenue had been cancelled.

I'd have to do some research, although I will say that Sony gave the ok for Wild Arms Alter Code: F (basically the first Wild Arms redone for PS2) to be released by Agetec here in the States.  I wouldn't be surprised if they allowed Atlus to publish the game here if they are indeed the same game.

Sony appears to have wised up a bit and realized that niche games are going to help the PS2, not hurt it.

AgtFox, if you could do some research and post an update, I'd be eternally grateful. Reading this newsbit on your site yesterday really made my day. I loved Road Trip and was crushed when the Road Trip sequel, Adventure Avenue, was cancelled.

EddieA, agreed. Sony really pissed me off when they cancelled Road Trip Adventure Avenue and Metal Slug 3 for no reason. Thank God Microsoft was smart enough to approve MS3 for the Xbox. I ordered MS3 online a few days ago and am now patiently awaiting its arrival. smile (Luckily for me, I got the Xbox as a gift a few months ago - and I've been loving it ever since.)
