If the game lives up to the pretty, shiny, trailer I will be happy to buy this game and lay down the smack on various droids, Jedi, etc.

Just watched the trailer again.  I heart trailers!

Seriously, I was way more impressed than I expected to be.  The Collective has done a good job in two previous games of getting the "feel" just right (Buffy and Indiana Jones).  If they can get the game looking that sharp on a console and live up to their promise and their past, I'm IN!

If you do not want a pretty heavy spoiler, do NOT watch that trailer. It gave away something I suspected, but to have it confirmed was both cool and a slight bummer. But that game looks monumentally kick ass, and if The Collective are the ones behind it then I'm there.

i noticed that pretty significant scene too...although i figured it was coming anyway.  looks like a game with the potential to be pretty cool though.

You know, when I finished Ninja Gaiden I thought how cool it'd be to have a similar game, but with jedi's. It would be perfect!

Anakin looks really cool (like the outfit) in the final scene fighting the battle droids.

Let's just hope the control scheme works out!

i've watched the Episode 3 trailer several times now, and i'm fairly certain that the spoiler we're talking about here isn't suggested in any way.  like others have said though, it's something that's not all that surprising.

What I was talking about was the part of the game trailer that appears to show Obi-Wan knocking Anakin into the fire, necessitating the Darth Vader suit.  The movie trailer shows what appears to be Anakin and Obi-Wan fighting over a fire pit, or volcano, or whatever it is.

Yes, that's a spoiler all right, but if you watched the documentary on the star wars dvd about Episode 3, you'd already know that... I think it was on that anyway... The other spoiler that Yossarian talked about so subtly, was something noone knew yet...

By the way, I think Yossarian should delete or alter his post, I sure wouldn't like to stumble on that!

I was talking about  AvD.  I think it's interesting that everyone here was  talking around a different spoiler.  I guess we see what we want to see.

Also, though it certainly is indicative of an inevitability in the movie, the lava-kick just seemed so gameplay specific that I didn't take it as a spoiler.
