I guess it's about time we made a thread for this game, particularly since they've just released what is probably the coolest game trailer ever. Seriously. Just watch it. You'll thank me later. smile

That is pretty F'ing awesome. Not to mention that the game looks good too. I went from an eventually buy, to buy immediately.

Wow. I actually said "that's the best game trailer ever" after I watched it. Wasn't expecting that at all.

Like just about every gametrailer or youtube video, it played for about 20 seconds before it went blank on my craptastic laptop screen. icon_confused So I'll just have to take your word that it was uber, awesome. This game has been high on my radar for some time. Does anyone know what RE games it covers this time? I've read RE2 and Code Veronica, but the last chronicles covered the timeline for 3 RE games?

It covers 2, Veronica and it has an all new storyline in South America that allegedly sets up RE 4.

South America? I thought the events in 4 took place in Spain?

Nice.  These trailers are coming further and further doing this stuff.

Wow... that was unexpected, don't think I've seen anything quite like that before in a trailer. Awesome!  thumbsup

Yeah 4 does take place in Spain. Not sure how it's all going to tie together, but this new story features Krouser.

Some of those bosses look great!

I skipped over Umbrella Chronicles (I still need to finish RE4, and RE5).

Do these "Wiimakes" tell the same story as the games they are representing?  Or are they side stories or something?

Umbrella Chronicles represents the events in RE0, RE1 and RE3, plus an additional scenario in Russia. Darkside Chronicles represents the events in RE2 and RE:Veronica, plus an additional scenario in South America. They don't include all the story elements from those games, but they contain the most important parts.

I like the fact that Darkside Chronicles is covering less versions; not enough levels from each version was 1 of my beefs with Umbrella Chronicles. I just hope the final levels aren't as difficult as the latter RE3 stages in UC. I've beaten a number of RE games on the more difficult settings, but UC really became a bit too much of a challenge for me towards the end.

Neat, that's a fancy shmancy trailer! The game itself I'm unsure about though.
