To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Resident Evil, Capcom has put together an impressive anniversary box set, which it will be releasing exclusively through its e-Capcom store in Japan.

Quote
The collection will set Japanese gamers back 7,800 yen (60) when it's released on September 8. Capcom hasn't said whether US and European gamers can look forward to getting their hands on the box.

Here's the full list.

    * Resident Evil Directors Cut (PSX)
    * Resident Evil 2 (PSX)
    * Resident Evil 3 Last Escape (PSX)
    * Resident Evil Revival Selection (PS3)
    * Resident Evil Code: Veronica soundtrack
    * Resident Evil 4 soundtrack
    * 15th anniversary items: Pins & Stickers (STARS & Umbrella)
    * Spacer for PS3's Resident Evil 5 or Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

'Last Escape' was the Japanese title for Nemesis,why its still titled Resident Evil here in this article then and not Biohazard i have no idea

'Revival Selection' is again the Japanese title for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 HD and Code:Veronica ports/remakes

No Resi Zero,but probably because it never appeared on the Playstation,and i still have my GC version anyway icon_biggrin

I read the title of the thread as "Resident Evil15" - which wouldn't have surprised me too much - there are a lot of them.  It's a pretty nice package, but I've been incapable of getting into more than one title in the series, due to camera issues.  For some reason, I managed to play Nemesis almost to the end, but I finally concluded that RE was not going to be one of my all-time favorites.  I really want to love them, but alas, I cannot.  Oh well...   icon_neutral

Interesting that they're the PSX discs. Can PSX disks be played on the PS3, or is Capcom counting on all those that'd be interested still having their PSX's or PS2's? I would have really liked to have seen an anniversary edition based on the Gamecube releases with Zero also included.

yeah all playstation 3's can play PSX titles

I think it would be interesting seeing a collection that was not platform specific but then it would be bigger and then there would be decisions eg.what version of Resident Evil 1 or 4 would be included?

 i really wish they got round to remaking Resident Evil 2 and 3
